Welcome to the thread! And enoy your first trip to DisneyWorld!! (be sure to stop by Guest Services at any of the parks and pick up buttons that say "First Time Visitor" and wear them. You will be surprised at all the comments you get from cast members - and maybe some perks too!

its easy....go to Home Depot paint dept, get the Disney Alien Green Mickey Head paint samples.....take two back to back, laminate them together, punch a hole and string to your bags with ribbon or zip ties!

2 months today, my DD turns 11 and WE WILL BE IN DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran into a snag with my 3D skills (um - I really don't have any)... so I get a visual of something in my head, and when it doesn't work out how I visualize it - well - I don't like it very much.

This is the case with the Mardi Gras Mickey head... I really don't like it. But feel free to use it for your trip, if you'd like.

Just made our reservation last night for March 26 through April 1. It will be just wife and myself, she is a teacher so will be on spring break. So now have to do a lot of planning in a short time. Does anybody have any suggestions. We have the dinning plan and will be going to Mama Melrose in order to get the preferred seating to Fantasmic. Will Mama Melrose is nice it's not the greatest food, does anybody have any other suggestions on how to get preferred seating without going to Mama's. I know you can also get the tickets at Brown Derby but not sure we want to use 2 dinners to get them. We are already thinking of using 2 dinners at California Grill. If anyone has any suggestions we would appreciate it.

Ok so now its time to get to work.....I find planning the vacation almost as much fun as the vacation itself.....

Thanks for any help and I am sure there will be many more posts as my planning session goes forward.

I'll be there March 7-12 (or 6-11 depending on work). We're booking this week! We'll be staying at POP and celebrating our engagement! So excited!

Mind if I take a shot at tweaking it a bit? I've got some time to kill this evening and I'm halfway decent with PhotoShop. A Mardi Gras Mickey didn't even cross my mind - I have a couple of floral Mickey designs for my LGMH tags, but now I love the idea of MG Mickey!

We are going March 13-16 and I have been a little worried about what the crowds are going to be like. I have heard it is busy for Spring Break during that time. Has any one else been there during that time? We typically go the week of Memorial Day or mid-June so I was just wanting kind of a comparison to that. Me and the DD have been many times but this will be the first trip for my soon to be DD and my soon to be DH.
