Starting to feel real once I get something actually booked!!Ok, I'm sure it's right in front of my face and I'm just overlooking it, but can someone please link me to where I can make the ADR's online? Never done it online before and wanted to give it a try but just can't find where it is.Starting to feel real once I get something actually booked!!
Really, I AM fairly computer literate!
Well, now DH is telling me he really doesn't want to go in April - hopes to be farming then (they were this year), I'm also worrying a little more about all the kids activities then - travel soccer, etc.Hello March planners!! Wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on the crowds the last week of March 2011? What are you thinking - unreasonable or managable?
We had originally narrowed down our trip choice to 2/26 - 3/5 or 4/9-4/16. We settled on the April dates due to weather - our kids REALLY love to swim, and I don't want to wear a winter coat AT ALL in FLWell, now DH is telling me he really doesn't want to go in April - hopes to be farming then (they were this year), I'm also worrying a little more about all the kids activities then - travel soccer, etc.
So...during this period of indecision, I find out my sister and her boyfriend are going to FL on March 26th for her best friend's wedding, in Daytona. And they're thinking of going to Disney the week after. I had completely ruled out that time period due to crowds, but now I'm reconsidering. Touring Plans actually has the last week in March BETTER than the April week we're thinking of. Other sites do not, they say the April week should be much better. I'm assuming weather would be good - swimming most if not all days.
We've always gone in May and loved the fairly low crowds, so this whole time period has me a bit nervous. We'd love to go when my sister is going - they are 10 years younger than me, 15 younger than DH, so of course the kids ADORE them and would have so much fun. The kids would hardly miss any activities either, maybe just a few practices. It's also a better week school-wise, sooner before Spring Break (Easter week for us, so our April dates would have them back only 4 days and then out again). They have March 30th off, so we could leave Friday, return the next Saturday (we drive) and they'd miss just 5 days of school as opposed to 6. Ack!! Weighing all the pros and cons!!
I'd appreciate any thoughts on the Last week of March - 3/26-4/2 with park days specifically 3/27-4/1. Really need to make up my mind b/c ADR's will be coming up soon!!
Thanks for any help!! Oh, and of course we'd be hoping for a discount - those March/April prices are CRAZY for the Poly right now!

I just wanted to officially join this thread since we confirmed our hotel this week! We will be staying at PO Riverside hopefully at Alligator Bayou since our normal crew of 4 is packing a stowaway
. Our Spring Break trip in honor of my 40th birthday (and coinciding with MKs 40th) will be from March 17-26 2011. Our special guest will be my 4 year old niece Princess Kenzie
who will be making her 2nd trip to WDW. For my family, this will be our 8th trip, our first trip we stayed off site, and after that it's always been at a Disney resort.I hope that time period will be OK, because that's when we are going.
Touringplans.com does show the crowds as being fairly manageable. (At least that's what I choose to believe!)
If you approach your park days with a plan (which I assume you will, since you're already several steps ahead being on Disboards), I think you'll be fine.
(As always, YMMW!)
Thinking of adding a night, just have to convince DH
Looking for a great deal on airfare too! So far Airtran has the best rates

A big hello and welcome to everyone who just booked trips!
Has anyone else found that the March hours have disappeared off the official calendar? When I hit March on the dropdown menu, all the days are blank.
Everything looks so good.. I really should stay away from the food porn thread.

.....(of course I am not going to say no....was bummed she did not want to go). The BF apparently is now going to New York for a theater trip and we are apparently cool enough again for a spring break trip...
. Now this does add expense to the trip and will now need a room for 5 so hoping for some kind of discount at POR...
Made our first ADR yesterday too.
Chef Mickey's for breakfast our first day in the parks - kids loved it last time.
Just have to figure out for sure what we want the rest of the week so I can make those later on in the week - we haven't made our room reservation yet and I'm still waiting to see how much better I can do on airfare, so it's our first offical thing booked.
