For those that have traveled in March before and have used the Stay 4/ Get 3 free...was this only in moderates? Did they have anything comparable for Value resorts?

Just checked the web and the resort info is out for the International Cheer Comp. at WDW March 18-20. The resorts that are listed for registration are Caribbean Beach and All Stars (doesn't say which one). Park dates for the participates are listed yet......planning my days around this. Two years ago there were performances at DS at the Indiana Jones stage.

I have a question......since the rates are out now, I have contacted 2 travel agencies and gotten quotes from them. Same quote, right down to the penny. Then I went to the Disney site myself and got the exact same number.

So let me ask you, what is the benefit in using a travel agent? Or what is the down side in using one? Since it is the same amount, its not costing me anything to use them and would they know about discounts, etc before I would? Like would they have some "secret inside knowledge", LOL??

I'm gonna go ahead and pay my deposit by next week (after I get my plane tickets) but I dont know about using the agent. I have never used one before.

A good agent should definatly know about discounts atleast when we find them out here on the dis. They should contact you and ask if you want it applied or apply it for you and then contact you. Other then that they make ADRs for you if you want. But if you want anything changed you have to go through them since they own the ressie. I think the only time you will save $$ going through a travel agent is if you book through a AAA agent and even then if you tell the CM on the phone you are AAA they can give you the same rate I believe.

I have control issues also, LOL! We are not doing the dining plan so there are no reservations to make. It would basically be the same as me doing it myself.

If I found out about a PIN or a promotion after I booked, I could call and have them apply it, right?

Well I switched resorts from the Poly to the Wilderness Lodge. The price difference was INSANE! I went from $5000 to $3900 for the same exact package.

Now lets hope for a discount and we will really be in business!

We stayed at the Poly last year, but for the money I really think we made a better decision to switch resorts.

My hubby and I will be staying at Pop March 5th-12th for our 17th anniversary! This will be our first "kid free" trip. I may change to POFQ when the deals come out or I get a PIN!

We are not planning our trip till March 2012 but since we don't have an official March 2012 thread yet, i thought maybe I'd join in here to get some advice from people going March 2011? hope this is allowed! I have been in March twice but after two back to back July trips it feels like I haven't been during this beautiful time of year in forever! Anyways, hope to follow along with you wonderful people and pick up some great tips!

I was just wondering, if they were to have this deal again, what happens if I was already planning for more than 5 days? I am looking at 10 nights. Would I pay for 8 nights and get 2 free? Or does it only work if you were planning on 7?

I was just wondering, if they were to have this deal again, what happens if I was already planning for more than 5 days? I am looking at 10 nights. Would I pay for 8 nights and get 2 free? Or does it only work if you were planning on 7?

We took advantage of the 4/3 deal in May 09 at All Star Movies and it was just a flat 3 nights/days of passes free - we stayed 10 nights and only paid for 7 and had 9 day passes but only paid for 6 day. I would LOVE to see a 4/3 or 5/2 deal again!!!

I'm in...We are going March 26-31. As for promos, I'm hoping for a 40% off code. A few years ago they had promo in Jan for free park hoppers, that would be good too. Free qsdp would be welcome.

4/3 or 5/2 wouldn't really work for our schedule. We have to go to Hogwarts at the end of our week.

Trying to decide on Pop or Coronado OR renting DVC OR staying offsite. Too many decisions....

We'll be in a BoardWalk Studio from 3/3 - 3/10, our 4th time at BW in the last 5 years, same time frame. It's a great time to be there, little rain, moderate crowds and nice temps., a great vacation to have at the end of a lousy Pa winter. What's more, by the time we get there it will have been 18 months since our last visit so there might be some stuff we haven't seen, Capt EO and MSEP will still be running then, I hope.
