** Official ** March 2011!!!

Ahhh...have been buried with work and kids' school stuff! NOWHERE NEAR READY FOR WDW TRIP, BUT SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! Need to get my kids and me some new spring clothes and get them som Disney stuff that's cheaper to buy in advance (autograph books, crocs, glow sticks, etc.) Gotta get my toosh in gear!!! Congrats to those getting ready to leave!!!! :goodvibes

3 DAYS!!!

I'm nowhere near ready... but so ready to get there! :rotfl2:

I just can't wait to see the kids faces (they know, but still...)

Now, if someone will just tell me how to stop worrying over all the details, I can really enjoy this. (I've been obsessively checking the weather and worrying about the wet stuff. :sad2: I'm WAY too much of a worrier! :upsidedow )

Today is 10 days until arrival which means time for online check-in. Yay! But I tried and it wouldn't let me. Said to try again, which I did and still no luck, or call. :confused3

Me too!! I think I can survive the getting wet part, I just hope they dont close down Kali River Rapids. My DD10 has been dreaming of riding that ride again for almost 2 years now!

Well, let's keep our fingers crossed for each other! :thumbsup2
Friends keep reassuring me that the weather changes at the drop of a hat and that its not usually an all day rain. So, hoping we'll be a-o-k. :cutie:

Yes... this is very true. We lived in Tampa for 3 years and "scattered thunderstorms" is nothing usually.... most of the time it rains for 5 minutes here and there and clears up; very typical weather for Florida.;) We'll be there next Thursday so we're hoping for great weather too. We were just there this past Dec. and we froze our tails off!:scared1: That was the 2nd Dec. in a row where we had unseasonably cold weather!:confused3:goodvibes Here's to warm, pleasant weather! Have fun! April

will we get the room we want? will I forget my I.D...?...geez,,,I try each year to just go with the flow....but then stress that that is the wrong thing to do:laughing:

:lmao: So you stress out about not stressing enough? I thought I was the only one! :lmao: Deep breaths... Deep breaths.... :goodvibes

I have been stressing also, but not just because of the weather or regular vacation things. My DD10 has been sick since Thursday with a mighty stomach virus - vomiting, diarrhea, etc. We had to take her to the ER Thursday night and get her an IV because she was getting dehydrated. By Friday night she started running fever of anywhere between 99-101.5 that ibuprofen would not touch! I was getting worried that we may have to cancel the trip, or at least have that as an option.......well this morning she woke up wth NO FEVER - 13 hours and counting since I gave her Tylenol - and she is eating some toast!:worship::dance3: We had to miss both the Mardi Gras parades in our town this weekend but its worth it if she is well for Disney!

/waves hi
Read the boards for years, just never got around to registering, lol. Procrastination at its finest. :rolleyes1

We have a trip planned Mar 29-Apr 1st. Yay!!! We haven't been since 2008, so I'm ready to relax! :woohoo:

So, SO glad she is feeling better! I've been brow-beating my boys into getting extra sleep to try and avoid anything disastrous. Hope the good health keeps up and you have a wonderful trip! :dance3:

I'm worried about the weather, too. We're driving from Nashville, and we have all ready had an early tornado season with more coming tomorrow. I don't want to drive down in storms or drive back in them! I did look up the historic weather in FL for this time of year. Guess what? Only about a 13% chance of rain each day!

Yay on the 13%!

Drive safely! I hope you have good weather for the trek, and the trip. :cutie:

MY little one fell OFF the bathroom sink today (don't even ask me WHY he was up there, the best reasoning that I could possibly give you is that he's 6 and he's a boy). He got him a big old goose egg on his head but fortunately no blood loss and no longering effects. Just scared me to death to think of my son getting a head injury less than 72 hours before we surprise him with his first Disney trip. :scared1: Well I hope it heals up and doesn't swell too bad before we do leave, or we'll look like the parents who beat their son all the way to Disney World  .

all that and he basically found his gift bag with his Mickey Ears in it yesterday. He must not of noticed them for the coloring book he took out of it, but he just about got grounded for life for finding out his surprise early :rotfl: . Fortunately, he didn't even notice the ears and it all went right over his head :rolleyes1

We watc hed Pinnochio tonight to basically wrap up all the "necessary" Disney pre-req movies (watched over 25 in the past few months, going to try and add Mary Poppins Tuesday night). We've got most of the packing done and are soooooo ready to go!

Hi there I'm taking my 2 girls to the Boardwalk for Spring Break! We'll be staying from the 10th until the 17th!! LBollengier, DD10 & DD17 :yay::dance3:

Ugh, as the mother of a 6 year old boy, I so totally understand! Mine's got a bruised cheek that's clearing up after sliding down the stairs on his knees... :rolleyes1

2 More days of work. A day off to finish the last minute stuff and we leave on Thursday!!! YAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Can't wait!!! :cool1:
