Just joining this post and hope to catch up reading everyone's info soon.

We're arriving Sat March 5th and returning home Fri March 11th - vacation during ds's Mardi Gras holiday. We're staying at Windsor Hills. This is our second trip with my dh and ds (I went numerous times as a child); we were there in Feb '09. My son is 9 and we haven't told him yet.

I will start my planning after the holidays. Last time I had done lot's of research and it paid off.

To Do:
find out what FB page people are talking about
remember how to do the ticker counting down the days
remember where the photo passes are posted
decide when we're doing to tell ds

For those who have not told their children yet---I was looking at the Disney Store website, and in the Theme Park section they have t-shirts that say:

"I'm going to the Walt Disney World Resort"

I am going to get one for DS. I will give him the pins and lanyard and then the t-shirt.
I am so excited...only 2.5 weeks before I can tell him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!! Hope you guys all have a LOVELY day ! My kiddies are still sleeping but last night I let them open up their Luggage sets and DD Violette (3) screamed "THIS IS FOR MY DISNEY WORLD!!" Soooo I'm sure she'll be all packed up and ready to go 88 days ahead of time lol.

She also had a sad moment yesterday when we drove past the airport on the way home. A flight was taking off and she became very emotional, I thought she had hurt herself until she said "Mom, that plane isn't taking me to my Disney World! Mommy they won't stop and get me!". Obviously this child is more than ready for March!

I got Megan a new travel purse, so she has lots of room to carry her stuff in the parks!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!! If you have stories of Disney surprises, or a disney gift(like Mandy's awesome luggage story) please share. I would love to hear/read them.

I work on an ambulance, yes I am a paramedic. I'm not always the driver I don't want to go there. anyway..... My Mom got my 1 y/o a Mickey Mouse club house ambulance. so cute. The Joke was that it was complete with a"Goofy" partner. Our poor child is growing up with ambulances and Fire trucks. We actually have a disney ambulance. Minnie and Goofy figuers included.

I cant wait for my DS to be big enough to surpise with a trip.

And to our new joiners... Welcome to the party!!

I haven't booked yet...so the All Star Movies in with our dates is me being hopeful. I just hope to get the passholder rate when I finally purchase them. I have to wait until after I pay our mortgage...then I'll see what finances look like.

If I can't get into Movies or Sports...do you think my son will like Pop Century....he's 3? I'm sure he'll like Music, but really want something a bit more geared towards children. Am I making sense?

I think he will love it. My DS loved Lady and the Tramp. I love all the toys everywhere. The pools are so cool. There really isn't a bad room no matter what. Worst case you walk a little further but the back rooms seem to be the quietest rooms. I love pop. But my mom is sponsering this trip so off property we go.
