** Official ** March 2011!!!

The PL pics look adorable! Too bad they won't let adults do it. :rotfl:

Under 100 days now so getting excited! :cool1:

I was going to gloat about being here in 80 degree temps while you all are freezing your butts off, until I realized we're headed to Indiana in 4 days and I'll be right there with you. :rotfl2:

I don't know if you are trying to avoid getting it done, but they do adults as well. I know that the packages have changed a bit since we went, but they had an adult outfit for sale for one of the packages that year.

If you dont mind me asking did you ever go for Mardi Gras to Disney?
If so,how was it?

we have been once before in 2009. It was amazing! As long as you dont go when it coincides with Presidents Week, I think you will be okay. We wont be going back next MG b/c Pres day is Monday and MG is Tuesday.......when we went (Feb 15 I think) the weather was a bit cool in the morning (light jacket) but warmed up in the afternoons (jeans or capris with a chort sleeved Tshirt), can get chilly at night. Lots of La people (Saints and LSU shirts gave them away!) but not too crowded. We usually go in the summer so thats all I ha to compare it to, but WAY less crowded than June!

Truly? Interesting! I didn't know they did adults too. Still, don't think my DH would be on board for it, no matter how cute I think it is. :)

Can't get to FB link on my phone. What name is on it? Is it under pages? Caught up on thread in two days. I work on an ambulance so I dis at work while not running a call via my phone. I would love to join the FB group.

I'm not creative enough or computer savy enough but can we get a special lime green Mickey head for this planning thread? We had one for November. It was super cute with a turkey with micky ears on it. I thought maybe on with jester hat on. Just a thought if there is someone out there who would want to do that. I had a big one on my diaper bag that stayed with my stroller and my hubby had one on his backpack. I met two dissers on my trip. I loved looking for that green Mickey head, and meeting the wonderful people sporting them.

Yahoo we are going March 6th to March 18th, 2011. Winter just started here in cold Northern Ontario, and I can't wait to get out of it. Hope it is warmer then last March. Enjoy Christmas everyone, it won't be long til March.

I might be able to design something after Christmas... I am just too busy until after the holidays. :lovestruc I love the idea of the jester hat. :)

We went elsewhere in March 2010, and I understand that there were some unseasonable days. We've gone to WDW first week in March 8 times since 1999. Usually the daily highs are from the mid 70s with 80s not uncommon and March has the 3rd lowest rainfall of any month in Orlando. I'm confident that we'll be met with that usual blast of warm, humid air at MCO on the 2nd, it's what we look forward to as these lousy Winter days in Pa drag on. I'm sure Northern Ontario puts our Winter weather to shame, but we get enough crap to make us long for a tropical taste.

just need to share.....

we are at 100 days until we leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

\We finally got our resort booked - no deal unfortunately, but oh well. We got our new planning DVD in the mail Friday and the kids and I are watching it again right now. After seeing it on the DVD, they both now want to do the Pirate League at MK - anyone done it? Worth $30/each?? I told them I didn't know about it, we'd have to see but I'd love to hear some feedback before dropping $60 on it.

Cute cute ! DD #1 would love something like this as well but we also have a princess obsessed 3 year old. I'm hoping BBB will do for the both of them. My oldest will be 9 in Feb so I'm not sure if she will even let me do BBB after this :(

Love all the pics!

Awesome Facebook group!! Just sent my request. :) You guys help keep my marriage happy b/c DH doesn't get excited and want to talk Disney until about a week before we go - and he hates planning (just as well, I like doing it alone!) :)

Yay for joining us on FB! I thought it would come in hand for those of us obsessive planners who think about our Disney trips several times a day :)

Thanks to all who have been well wishing us for everything that has happened so far.... I can tell you that we will not be giving up easily!! We are bound and determined to make this trip happen! And it wouldnt be the same without the amazaing support of all our disboard friends! :grouphug: Thanks again everyone and have a safe and happy holiday if I dont post before then. (though that seems VERY unlikely lol ) Here's to hoping Santa brings us LOTS of Pixie Dust!! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Santa better bring you some pixie dust!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys :) Hopefully you can make it happen! Keep us posted and Happy Holidays to you too!

Thanks for putting the FB group together, Mandy. :goodvibes

(Funny that there are 31 of us and 4 are Amanda/Mandy's. :thumbsup2)

I was messing around with ADR's again, just sort of seeing what was open. I sure hope the amount of available ADRs for the big demand restaurants like Le Cellier and CP are indication of crowd levels. I was able to get Le Cellier for a party of 2 and 6 for Saturday the 19th with no problems.

On the LGMHs, are those just carried on your person? I thought I remembered some people putting them on their doors at WDW? LGMHs have not caught on at DLR like they have at WDW, so I'm new to them.

I'm hoping that too. I just got CRT at prime lunch time (noon) on the 6th for the 4 of us, and one constant through all my ADR tweaking has been surprising availability everywhere I've looked.

I have a LGMH tag on the backpack I carry in the parks, and I'm going to toss another on my camera bag since most of the time that's more visible now that we're traveling with a stroller. I know people do decorate doors & windows at Pop but I really haven't given any thought to that yet. That's something for after I have all the girls' outfits made if I still have time to kill. :lmao:

Yes, "Amanda" seemed to be quite the popular name back then. Personally I have Barry Manilow to thank for it and my Mothers obsession with him back in 81 ;) I tried to give my kids a less common name, hopefully I have succeeded!

I really don't know much about the green mickeys either as I was a newbie to the board with our last visit! I'd love to sport them though :) Is there a place in which you can purchase these?

Going to AKV. March 5-12:cool1:

Whoooo hooo!!! Welcome :)

Funny you mention a lot of availability w/ ADR's. I'm seeing most of the more popular ones with a lot of openings as well during our weeks too. One can hope, right?! ;)
