*OFFICIAL MARCH 2010 THREAD* - Lets countdown together!

They must have just updated touring plans because it's different from when I checked this morning! It used to show all 7's and a couple 5's for our visit, now it's mainly 5's and 6's with a few 7's. I'm with you--last time we went over spring break it was all 9's...we may feel like we have the parks to ourselves!!

Oh wow! I just checked for our days that we will be there and at first they were mostly 7's but now they have thrown in two 5's and two 6's! Let's just hope that holds true and that we all get some sunshiney skies!

Sending good weather vibes to those of you leaving soon! I think you all will have great trips no matter what though!

My brother and his family just checked in on sunday and apparently they said the online checkin was nuts and no one was in line for regular checkin....their advice to me about online checkin "DON'T DO IT"....that is what they said.
Now I don't know what to do....ahhhh 8 sleeps.

I just checked the crowd calendar. Our stay, even though it says End Spring Break Season on our day of arrival, we've got four 7's and two 9's (our last 2 days). I'm a bit worried about that.... but then again... we pretty much usually go during Spring Break and last July we went and it was more crowded than during Spring break 08. I love the flower & Garden show.. I'm hoping to be in the parks where the crowds are not.

I have no clue why it says spring break season ends the week you get there since my kids don't even start spring break until the thursday before good friday. I know last year the week before Easter was very crowded. So I think maybe the Spring Breaks they are talking about are college ones? I know we manage well at Christmas never missed anything we've wanted to see so you should be good!

OK WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THE WEATHER?!?!?!?!? UGHH I swear every day I look it changes and I use 2 different apps to check and both are totally different. Yesterday we were looking at 80-82 and the day before we were looking at 65-68 and today its 72-76. One says rain the first 3 days the other says no rain. I swear they are trying to drive me insane!!!

If you go to http://www.touringplans.com and click on the crowd calendar link on the front page it will show you. It gives you a month out for free, so it should encompass your dates. We followed it our last trip to WDW when the crowd projections were all 9's and didn't have any trouble with crowds/waits.

I saw the same thing - I hope it is true. We were there for Spring Break last year and it was the most crowded I have ever seen it. This was the week before Easter. I had heard that the state of Georgia had spring break that week and that was part of the reason. It definately was more crowded than July last year. We were there for spring break in 07 and 08 and neither was bad at all. Lets hope those 7s stick!

My suitcases are out now, finally, and so is the box that I'll ship my extras down in. I have to get into serious packing mode this weekend - I have a paper due and a test the 2 nights before we leave! Not to mention a food show for my customers and getting two 16 year old girls together with their packing. (I just gave them each a list from my Passporter and said don't forget anything!)

Anyone going down this week that would be a fairy godmailer? I'll return the favor while I'm down there!

We will be arriving 1 day after you are and I am very glad to hear about the crowd levels. I know that I say that I really don't go by those levels, but it is nice to know what we are going to be dealing with once we are there . Let's both keep our fingers crossed that those levels hold true once we are there

I know... It's single digits for us today, but I don't feel like dancing...

The May monsoon was an all-day dourpour for the entire week we were there. It's hard to spend thousands of dollars for something like that. We have been through a lot to save for a second trip. Just the thought of it raining again makes me want to cry. Our 15 day forecast shows rain every single day we are there with the exception of Monday.

I know these things are not to be trusted so far out, but I am afraid.

Tuesday Mar 30th: Animal Kingdom: everyone else should be at MK or EP

What the heck???????????? I'm falling apart! Went to the Dr. on Monday for a sinus infection, he gave me a new antibiotic Cefuroxime and last night I started with Stomach Flu symptoms (if you get my drift - coming and going). Ugh!!! So now I don't know if it is a stomach virus or side effects from the medicine! All I know is I have 6 days to get this worked out of my body!!!! This is supposed to be a trip to get away from all the stress for a few days. Please start sending me good vibes!!

I failed my fasting blood sugar so they're sending me for an A1c, but what this really means... the nurse said... no pasta, no bread, no potatoes or corn... and no sweets... well, the definition of no sweets is... no DOLE WHIP!! No Ghirardelli's and No Mango Margarita!
is there some other fun things to do there?

You can take or leave this advice but diet is very important when you're ill. Double your water intake and try to stick to fresh fruits, veggies, beans and grains. Very little meat, fish, dairy or processed sugars will help your body use it's energy to get you better rather than digesting food. Rest physically to conserve energy for getting you well. It's not so bad. DH and I always go on a fruits and veggies fast in the 5 days before WDW anyway since we guzzle down sweets the whole time we are there and it helps us to not gain more than a few pounds.

Don't panic. Six days is more than enough time to get well
