Hi Sheribo,

Thank you so much for updating this thread. It is really nice to see how many other DISers are going to be going in March. Anyway, I originally had posted that we are staying at POR from March 24 to March 31. Well last night my DH and I decided to upgrade to CR during those same dates. Just wanted to let you know just incase you wanted to update your list. Thanks again for all your work.

Wow am I late to this thread, spending to much time reading all the trip reports. I have been debating on whether or not to do a pretrip and trip report.

We are going march 5 through the 16th at Movies (second trip and cannot wait)

So, has anyone been in March previously? We went last May/June and just got back on the 10th. We thought the crowds both times were pretty good!! The weather got a little steamy in May, but it was perfect this month!

Any March experience on our thread?

We have been in March. We were there the last week of March. It was right before Easter so the crowds were much heavier than they would be on a non-Easter week. From the decrease in park hours, I would say this year the crowds will be very manageable.

The weather was perfect. We did need jackets the first day but after that the high was about 80 each day. Very nice compared to June when we typically go.

Also, not sure we need to get too worked up over the ADR thing. Until Disney lauched this whole dining plan (marketing scheme), the window was 90days and we never had any problems getting ressies. If the crowds are down as they seem to be, it should work out.

It's 15 degrees here today so anything Disney sounds wonderful to me!

Last year it was warm in the 80's the whole time. The year before that it was warm the first half of the week and then a cold front came through and it was in the 50's-60's the rest of the week. And of course we didn't prepare for it, so I went out and bought everyone Disney sweatshirts!

Hi all! Please add my party to the list: VWL starting on the 18th of March. There will be 11 of us, but only for a few days. Then eight of us go on the Western cruise. The kids always have two weeks off in March. Last year it was Easter break, so hoping that it won't be as crowded!

Yes, we were there the first week of March 2008 and the weather was absolutely perfect. I hope it is that way again for the upcoming trip!!

I had just walked in the door this afternoon from picking up my ds from school. The boys were talking/yelling and my dh said guys I have something to tell everyone: We are going to Disney March 1-8th! We'll be staying at All Star Sports for the first time. This March we stayed at POFQ and last year at Pop. I am so super excited. I'm glad to be reading the crowds shouldn't be too bad the first week.
