**** official june 2015 thread! **** come check in!

We are planing a 3 Generation pixiedust: Trip to DL/DCA!!! We will be in the parks 06/21 - 06/26 and we have booked CCI.

Unlike our upcoming February trip, everything will be running :yay: and CROWDED! But a crowded week in DL still beats a week at work. :dance3:

This is exactly what we're doing, too. Three generations, same dates, and same hotel--too funny. Are you getting as excited I am? :cool1:

We are getting really excited. My In-laws haven't been to DL in 15 years and it will be the middle of the 60th Celebrations! pixiedust:

A seven person family vacation for our anniversary May 31- June 7 at VGC. We were married at WDW in 2005 and decided to celebrate DLR's 60th for our 10th!! Cannot wait!

Any recommendations for a hotel to stay at across the parks for one night on May 31st? I just need it for one night and want to be nearby the parks as we will move over to Paradise Pier the following day on the 1st.

Thanks!

Any of the places across the street from DL on Harbor Blvd are good options because they're close by. A couple of them even include free breakfast. Most of them (except for Hojo's) charge for parking, so just be aware of that...but PPH charges for parking, too.

DD6 and I will be there on June 26th & 27th, possibly a couple days in early July, not sure of our exact travel plans past July 1st.

It's official - June 6 - 10! Staying at Tropicana with 3 day parkhopper + extra day.

I wasn't thinking clearly and took vacation June 3-7.... not considering Grad Nights which we have not experienced before. I have 2 elementary school age boys so I am not thrilled about the prospect of older kids running all over causing problems for them. However, my kids discovered last summer the joys of hitting the parks at opening and retiring to the hotel pretty early so we will do that again this year and hope for the best. We will be at BWPPI... for once the price was very comparable to Anaheim Plaza where I had originally booked. Haven't stayed at BWPPI in YEARS so this will be an experiment.

We went to Disneyland two years ago and two of our three nights were grad nights. None of the kids acted inappropriately. Yes, there was the general silliness of high schoolers who are on grad night. We saw lots of piggy back rides and running and skipping and being loud, but nothing that was mean spirited or swearing. Just silly kids. I kind of enjoyed their enthusiasm.

We had three grad nights two years ago, and didn't have any problems either. We just avoided some of the roller coaster type rides later in the day. You'll have alot of new nighttime entertainment to enjoy, and I think the kids will be more interested in the rides, so I think it will be okay.

Thank you for the info! :-)

We are going June 8-11! So excited have not been since 1998, so never been to DCA and we are taking our 14 year old and he has never been! He has been to WDW twice, so we have explained the differences. But he knows my very first visit to Disney was DL so he is excited to experience all the rides I did on my first visit, he wants to ride everything!

Celebrating my niece's graduation with high honors...her request? Disneyland!! We will be staying at the Park Place Inn from June 7-11th and are so excited it is the 60th anniversary celebration while we are there!
