Our 30 day mark is this weekend. I am so under-planned for this trip compared to years past. I got the ADRs and FPs set up... but not my own personal planning.

This year has just been so crazy, and the end of the school year just makes it worse! Oy.

Oh well... Maybe I'll plan on the plane down??

Once we booked our trip I started planning - over planning. Although we have all our ADRs, our 3 FP+ for each day! and a general outline of the week! we plan on taking the time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. If we only do our 3 FP+ attractions and spend the rest of our time in the parks exploring, not to mention time spent at our Disney resort, then it will be a magical vacation.

I'm at 24 days and I received my bands two days ago. I was surprised they got here that fast! Yours will be here before you know it

I was away from this thread for a bit as we changed our dates to July, but we had to change them back to June yesterday so we are 24 days out now! Bummer part is I had all our FP+ set up and was finalizing park days and had to start from scratch and only 25 days out.....which means I no longer have FP+ for A&E I keep checking though - DD will be so thrilled (they don't know we are going yet)!! I was still able to get SDMT - at later times than we originally had but that is okay! Thinking we may alternate RD's with later afternoon days so we are too whipped at the end of the week

I feel like the kid at school jealous and mopey because all of the cool kids got their nifty Magic Bands and I dont know if I will get mine.
Oh well, I guess I can live vicariously through you guys!!!!!

25 days and counting! BF and I are so freaking excited but have so much to get through before then... 1 going away party, 1 graduation party, 2 weddings, and 3 surgery exams for me Disney is definitely getting us through the end of the school year!

Our 30 day mark was Wednesday. Tracking information says they left Atlanta last night around 8:46. Now...it SAYS May 26 - 28 estimated delivery...however....

We're only a 3.5 or so hour drive from Atlanta. If they came straight here (which we know they didn't...), they would be here today.

But, since Montgomery is the hub for mail in this part of the state (and a slightly shorter distance to Atlanta, right?), it will probably be in Montgomery today, shipped down to our area tonight, and we MIGHT have our Magic Bands tomorrow.

Of course, the 26th is a holiday, so if they don't get here today or tomorrow, we'll have to wait all the way until Tuesday...

Something to think about while I try to make it through this really LONG day...

Today is full of excitement as holiday things ordered have started arriving!

Have taken delivery of shiny new suitcase and carry on case, new sandals have arrived and been tested, no rubbing issues and they are ridiculously comfy, good choice made there. My emergency device charger has also arrived.

I've been out and picked up my ordered dollars and got some first aid bits and pieces too (blister plasters, paracetamol etc) and they even had the Brita water bottles on offer in the supermarket so picked one of those up. Oh and slippers for the hotel, got to have my slippers!

I also made a balls up when I ordered my Disney tickets online, buying the 7+2 instead of the 14. Registered it and everything only to notice last night when I was looking at something else! Queue call to the call centre this morning where I changed it but now the planning site isn't recognising the code. I got a newbie on the phone this morning resulting in constantly being put on hold while she asked what to do so I'm in no hurry to call them again. Sigh. Only a minor blot though in a very exciting day so far!

At 26 days! MDE says my Magic Bands have shipped but I don't see any more info than that. Hopefully they arrive soon. School is almost out and then I can concentrate on getting ready. I still have to order Memory Maker.

Yay! I looked today and it says my MBs have shipped. They shipped yesterday.

Now I have another question for you guys. I know that I have seen this already on a couple of boards, but I thought you might quickly be able to help me, before I start searching. I bought Memory Maker today and I am wondering how I go about linking it to my MBs. Does anyone know how?

I would wait a couple more days before freaking out. I can't imagine that AAA does anything different from another TA. After tomorrow, see what it says about your MBs on MDE. If it says activated, it means their coming.

I checked my MDE today and it says magic bands shipped through USPS to me and has a tracking number and an estimated arrival date.

Go to the My Disney Experience website (not sure if you can do it in the app). Go to My Reservations and Tickets and scroll down to Memory Maker, where you will be able to link your MM # to your account.

According to the USPS website, mine should be here tomorrow!!! I agree, this is a great way to start the holiday weekend!!! I already have a grey one for my annual pass, and now I will have a green one too. Is it bad that I think I am going to buy a blue one when I get to Disney World?

I just checked MDE online, not the app. My MagicBands are on their way. Should have them next Wednesday. Yippee! It's getting more and more real. Only 28 days from tomorrow. We are going to Disney World!

I got my travel pack from the TA today! Luggage tags, vouchers, etc.

I finally figured out how to find the tracking on our Magic Bands and it says they are in Richmond, CA now. So, almost here. I hope they arrive tomorrow, otherwise it won't be until Tuesday.

I stumbled in here a little late! I will be doing a short 4 day trip with my younger brother. In order to save some DVC points for a big extended family trip next year, I decided to book at ASmu with the great annual passholder w/ free memory maker rate. It will be a first time for both of us to stay at any of the AS's and we are super excited to try it out.


Edit: Forgot to add that we will be there form June 16th to 19th!

Having made my mind up I wasn't hiring a car I have now given in and hired myself a car! I'm a little nervous about driving on the wrong side of the road and car but I enjoy driving, don't get to do it much as I don't have a car myself and I will enjoy not having to worry about catching buses.

So other than that I think I am mostly good to go. Still not got to grips with the FP+ thing, I have booked some for a couple of days but it's so long long since I was last at Disney they're completely new and I am still of the "wing it as I go" mindset. Maybe I'll get over that after my first park
