***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

I can't believe we are so close to leaving for DW. I cannot wait!!! We too, received our MM mail on Wednesday. I was starting to wonder if we'd get it before we left.

So apparently I've been MIA for WAY too long, I just realized this was here (I guess school will do that lol)...Anyway if you could add me to the list (albeit a little late), we'll be at POP June 5th-12th

10 days!!!!!

Not me! And I go before you. No fair! :p

I'm soooo sorry!! I know its a bummer to check the mail and not see it there! No joke, I jumped around and yelled when I saw it in ours (and maybe even did a little peter pan crow, shhhh, don't let the word get out on that one!). I will keep my figers crossed for you that you will get it tomorrow!!pixiedust:

Yeah welcome!! pixiedust:

I didnt even want to check my mail yesterday for fear it wouldnt be there, so when I got it I couldnt even make it upstairs to our apt before ripping through the envelope. I even got a package from Old Navy for some clothes and I just kicked that to the side-make way for MM!

How do you like those Frogg Togg towels? I have been looking at them online for the last 2 weeks and can't make a decision whether to buy them. I think Dick's online had free shipping on them and they were $14.99. I want all of us to stay cool but not sure if paying $60 is worth it? What do you think? Plus, do you have to carry their container with you when you aren't using it? I hope the answer is no as I can't handle carrying something else!

Also, I think I am wearing capris too. Last time we went I guess I wore shorts (from the pics I have) and must've been insane considering my ugly, milky white, fat legs. I never wear shorts unless it's around the house. I am worried I am going to sweat right through the capris though. Do you think it'll be okay?

Yes, I LOVE my Frogg Togg towel, I have never seen anything like it, it is amazing. I saw them somewhere the other day for $12.99, but I can't remember where. I got mine on post last year for $10. I do carry the container, because it helps keep it damp like it's supposed to, without molding, but I guess you could put it in a ziploc bag for the day. Make sure to rinse it out every evening. I wash mine with baby laundry soap when I get home to keep it fresh.

I don't have any problem sweating in my capris, they're not any hotter than shorts, to me. The other thing I hate about shorts is when you sit down, the back of your legs stick to the seat and that hurts when getting up.

Mickey Mail #1 arrived today for the Deluxe dining package portion of our trip! Now just waiting for the resort only portion to arrive!

If you are doing a room only, no tickets/dining plan, you will NOT get anything else. They never send a packet for room only reservations. They e-mailed me a confirmation, since my reservation isn't showing up on the website and I will print it out and take it with me just in case there is a problem at check in.

Cargo and Bermuda length shorts are what work for me. No leg sticking.:stir:

1 hour until my online check in wit h SW. A or B? I will post what I get. BTW I really like SW.:duck:

I am so excited today!

After I did my Online Check-in I decided to do another one of my regular, usually fruitless reservation searches for that coveted place at Cindy's Table. I know it's so silly for a middle-aged woman to want to eat there but since eating there on my first trip in 1979 I have always wanted to go back but with a 'stick-in-the-mud' DH and DS who could not care less about anything of this type I wanted to return. Each day I have tried multiple times and at odd times of day but that's what happens when you arrange a trip 60 days out and want to do eat at CRT! Today I succeeded and got a CRT reservation at 10 days out!

My CRT reservation is for lunch on a day that while not perfect is certainly workable in my schedule. When a time slot showed up as available I almost didn't notice at first, preparing to go on and to pull down the meal time for Dinner since I have seen that "No times available" message literally hundreds of times! I was so nervous and afraid that the slot would disappear before I could finish entering my credit card info! Who 'da thunk such a silly thing would please a grown woman? :cool1:

Well, when you're a woman of my size, they don't make that type of shorts, ya take what you can get :rotfl2:

Glad to read that somebody else agrees with wearing capri pants! I like them also because they protect my legs from hot seats when I sit down in the sun somewhere! I am also one of those who should not go around baring any more territory than necessary :rotfl:

And for those who perspire more than they'd like in the humid Florida weather, I read this yesterday in Shape Magazine: "The night before, shower and apply your antiperspirant to let it sink in while you sleep,". When you wake up in the morning, apply a second layer to maximize effectiveness. Make sure you're using a super-strength "clinical" formula that contains high levels of the most effective sweat-stopper, aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex. Try Secret Clinical Strength Waterproof antiperspirant (around $8). And if you tend to 'glisten' in embarassing spots like your cleavage....apply your antiperspirant to those areas too."

And I decided to use my big backpack carry-on for my laptop and extra gear since it will hold any souvvies I buy for the guys at home! The money I could have spent on a new rolling carry-on that would hold my 17" laptop is now going for lunch with Cinderella ;)

Good to hear that so many people are finally getting their MM!!! Why does Disney make people worry like this?

Oh, Kathy, you are so funny. 14 days until my birthday and breakfast with Kathy::yes::

That's a great idea, except I would look funny with deodorant all over my head :rotfl2:, that's where I tend to sweat.

I love my capris way more comfortable than shorts :goodvibes

JavAmy - I am really going to try to write a TR this time since it's a solo and I'm doing so many things just for me! Just hoping the heat doesn't wipe me out. Thanks for the good wishes! And the same for you!!!

Suzanne - Guess that tip is a dud! I am so looking forward to finally meeting you after all these postings!

Ok somebody please tell me what is wrong with me? We have less then a month till our trip and while I can't wait to go I dont feel as excited as I have for past trips. I dont know if it's cause we have been a few times already or the fact that I am really nervous it will be so hot and crowded that we won't have as good a time as we have had during our trips in Nov. Also my parents(67) are going with us and I feel a sense or responsibility to them having a good time since this is their first trip.:crazy2: Maybe I should just get over myself and have the best time ever!!!::yes::

Well, it might only be a dud for me, it might work great for someone else. I know, I am excited to finally meet you too.

Last year was my first time ever and I was crazy excited until about 2 weeks before, I started stressing thinking "is it worth it for this much money" "will it really be that fun" "all this packing and shopping, maybe we should just cancel"; even the night before as we lugged all our suitcases to the door! Then we got there and I started tearing up at checkin (Im misty eyed just thinking about it) and realized all that worry was a waste of planning time! You'll have a great time, so let yourself get excited remembering how great all your other trips were.

Oh I know it will be fun, it's probably just a hormonal thing lol! I keep telling myself I cant do anything about the weather and crowds so whatever it is we will make the best of it! Yes I keep telling myself that but I guess the reality of it is daunting! Maybe all the extreme heat we are gonna have here this weekend will get me ready for Florida summer and it wont be such a shock to the system(again not so much for me but my parents)
