***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

We just did our on line check in!!!:dance3::banana:

So my odd question of the day......When you check in and your room isn't ready, will the bell service people take a rolling cooler with your luggage? We weren't going to bring one, but then the DH decided it would be cheaper than to buy drinks on the road. I just didn't know if they would take it with the luggage, or if we would have to keep it in the minivan until we actually went to our room.

Yes, I LOVE my Frogg Togg towel, I have never seen anything like it, it is amazing. I saw them somewhere the other day for $12.99, but I can't remember where. I got mine on post last year for $10. I do carry the container, because it helps keep it damp like it's supposed to, without molding, but I guess you could put it in a ziploc bag for the day. Make sure to rinse it out every evening. I wash mine with baby laundry soap when I get home to keep it fresh.

I don't have any problem sweating in my capris, they're not any hotter than shorts, to me. The other thing I hate about shorts is when you sit down, the back of your legs stick to the seat and that hurts when getting up.

Thanks so much for the good review and the tips. We went to WalMart today (again!!! I keep forgetting things!!!) and I happened to check the sporting goods dept and lo and behold there they were! Frogg Toggs for $12.88 so I bought them! I am so excited!! Maybe I'll go outside and try them out now consider it's sweltering and the humidity is killer right now!

I also hate sticking to chairs and the constant worry that the shorts are shorter in the back than the front and the tugging, etc. :lmao: I am bringing the capris! Thanks for your help!

Yay!!! Got the Magical Express envelope for the first leg of our trip! Now we are all set!!!!! Sooooooo exciting!!! And in a week we can say "We're going to Disney this month!!!!!" YAYAYAYAYAY!!!

Glad to hear that more people are getting their MM and that Frogg Toggs are showing up in stores. My FT arrived yesterday; my old one was very stained and grungy from rafting in river water for days on end in Colorado and Idaho.

Some Frogg Toggs info from the inner package insert for those who may need it: (The outer plastic case does not mention anything about most of this.)

1 - "Wash well before wearing for the first time thoroughly by hand with warm water or machine wash gentle cycle, cold water, with liquid detergent and/or ammonia. Avoid bleach. Do not dry."

2 - "If hard or stuck together, do not peel apart. Soak for about 10 minutes in warm water or wash in normal laundry as described above. It will come out perfect."

3 - "Use the product wet. The smooth side is for absorbing or drying. The textured side is for cooling. Add water to increase the cooling effect. Wring out excess water as needed."

4 - "If affected by mold, odor or mildew, wash the product with detergent and ammonia. Diluted liquid bleach (1:5 parts water) may be used as a last resort, but color may fade. Test accordingly."

I am going to get my new one ready this weekend.

The other thing I do with mine is to cut it in half length-wise so it fits better around my neck with my camera strap and all. I do not advise this until you try the towel whole first.

All this talk of Frogg Toggs and I have never heard of them. I googled them yesterday an apparently they have a whole line of products. Is it just the towels that everyone is getting?? Where have you found them the cheapest? I like to be a light packer in the parks, is it one of the top things on your list?? I am just trying to decide if this is something I want to get for our next trip...Thanks to all!:)

Okay, I know this is crazy :scared: but I keep checking this board over and over, thinking maybe something will happen, like I'll get a huge post that says "guess what? you're going to disney TODAY"

Yup, it's time for me to take a vacation....:rolleyes1

Lol I feel the same way, I get on just to see my ticker...as if its going to be a shock to me!!

Im just thankful for this three day weekend, I have birthday shopping for my kids and last minute shopping for Disney! I wonder how many last minute shopping trips I can make before I make a world record :rotfl:

Ok lets talk ponchos...I bought the $4 ones last year at Walmart and we never used them. SO today Im packing and thought let me see what these look like-um no I cant wear that lol. I looked like Big Bird. Does anybody have any suggestions on some that are more jacket like but not terribly expensive? I just dont want the "poncho" look I guess, apparently I have never owned a poncho.

Haha, my biggest complaint about the ponchos isn't the look, but they are sooooo hot when you wear them, they don't breathe at all.

I have seen cheepo rain coats over by the ponchos at places like the dollar tree. Also you could try walmart, maybe by the camping supplies? If it's the "big bird"ness that bothers you, maybe a clear one would suffice?

Good luck on your search!!

I am joining the capri bandwagon...just found 2 pairs of cute (grandmaish) capris. I always bring a ton of clothes but if it's hot I changewe when I go back to swim annd rest. Got all my last minute stuff, packing soon. We are all getting excited.

Thanks so much for posting all the info. How do you guys usually use the towels? Do you keep it around your neck or do you just take it out and keep it on your head for awhile or just wipe the pouring sweat from your face...(you probably don't have the pouring sweat unless you're me! :lmao:)

Ya know, I was wondering if you could cut them in half. Do they still work if you cut them?

Carriehalty78: We bought the cheapie ponchos from Dollar Tree. They do the job even though all it looks like is a giant hot mess of a painting drop cloth when I wear it! :rotfl2: Got 2 of them in a pack for $1.

More last minute shopping again! This time DH finally decided he needed shorts. Never mind that he told me he was good on clothes for the trip. We were also on a hunt for the trial size version of the contact solution we like to use. No luck after 4 stores. Still gotta figure that one out.

Is anyone else second guessing everything? I am questioning everything that I had already decided on so I wish the trip would just get here already so I can stop!! The latest? I am thinking I may want a Bagallini to use in the parks. At the rate I am going, all the little stuff I "need" for the trip is going to cost more than the trip itself!

That is a good idea. I've been keeping my eyes open for capris, but not really searching for them yet. I suppose I should. I have trouble finding pants that fit, shorts are usually a little easier, but I have trouble with capris as well. I have a big booty and a smaller waist, so I get that lovely gap in the back. *sigh* Oh well, I guess I'll just keep looking! If I could loose this 10 lbs I put on since last year when we went I could wear my capris from then, but I just don't see that happening!

 SINGLE DIGITS!!!

online check-in...done
room requests...done
dining reservations...done

now just have to get nails done and pack :woohoo:

I have the same problem! It's so hard buying clothes! I don't wear shorts at home, I only wear them at WDW. I have horrible looking legs!:scared1:

That's me!! I am second guessing absolutely everything from the packing list, to the dates, ADRs, and hotel. I keep it to myself though. I did find a bag for the parks that I like. I went with a cute bag from Thirty-one. My latest worry is my shoes. I'm really hoping I get the new sneakers broken in by the time we leave.

We are all super excited!! :cool1::cool1:

It's almost here!!:banana::banana:
