Official JUNE 2009 Thread!!!

... I cancelled our trip. Even though we found another trip (cruise) to take instead, it was very sad for me to cancel. We all love Disney sooooooo much and really were looking forward to staying at Poly - maybe next time. And there WILL be a next time.

We will be there first week in June. I know nobody cares....just post padding. ;)

As far as crowds go.....hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

We were there in June 2007 6/8-6/16:) No problems with crowds. Had a fantastic time. We will be at POFQ 6/5-6/13:cool1: Trying the waterparks for the very first time

We will be going June 6-13th! I cannot wait. We have a 5 year old and 4 year old that are kind of iffy on it but I know they'll love it once they get there. My son is a bit scared because he doesn't care for the characters in costume.

Just payed off our Disney trip yesterday :cool1: We will be at Pop from June 10th to 22nd but will officially start our vacation on the 12th. After driving for about 24 to 28 hours it's nice to just kick back and relax for a day before hitting the parks.

We'll be at Pop June 14th-23rd :) Hopefully we will see you there.

Changed my hotel, will now be staying at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal

We will be at POFQ June 14-21, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We will dine at CRT on our anniverary!

Congratulations :) We're going for our 5th anniversary--it's actually on June 5th but we can't go until the 14th...will be at Pop June 14th-23rd :)

You will love it. It is so beautiful. The complaints I hear are that it is too big...but that's why it never feels crowded! I also hear that it's not "Disney." No, it is not cartoony, but what it does is make you think you are someplace lese, like the southwest for example. Taking you someplace other than FL is what Disney does best, kwim? Also, the pool is awesome! If your dd is a swimmer, she will love it. My kids will go down the slide over and over.

I think the pool is why dd chose CSR even when our friends were booked at CBR. I gave her the choice. She is a fish out of water and will probably drive me nuts to go to the pool. The resort does look beautiful and I can't wait to walk around the grounds.

Just booked June 13-21! :cool1: Right now we're at POR but I'm hoping we can switch to CSR. Can't wait to go home!

Hi everyone, this is my first post, my trip is planned for June 13th-19th staying at ASsports resort. I got the hotel free from the LMT deal last week :cool1:

me, my bf and ds (9) have never been to WDW so we are stoked!

So, who's got their adrs all planned out? Not me!I have some places I want to return, some places I've yet to try, and one definite- Akershaus for dd's bday!

I have two definite ADR's I want to make--Garden Grill and Boma. I think we are going to try for the Fantasmic dinner and go with Mama Melrose. We are also considering Donald's Breakfast at AK. Anybody have a suggestion for a country in Epcot?

Congratulations on your first trip, and your hotel deal!

Be sure to read lots of threads on this board to plan your trip -- it will be hot and crowded while you're there, so read up on all the hints and tips for dealing with that. Prepare for your room to be rather small -- it will be close quarters for the three of you. As enjoyable as the theming is at the All Stars and Pop -- the rooms are small motel rooms, and parking and the food court may be far away from your room. Lots of people love them however (my 3-person family was not comfortable there-- but you can just ignore me, and have lots and lots of fun if you preplan).

Do a lot of planning but be aware that you will not be able to do everything (WDW is beyond huge); be flexible; and have fun!

That said, back to this thread -- we'll be there June 6-23, on and off-property.

Love Boma! Only been for dinner-what meal are you going for?
WS- I like San Angel. Their food is okay, but their atomosphere is awesome! We went to Chefs de France and it was okay. I wasn't happy with my selection. I asked my server about it before I ordered, but I don't think she totally understood me! I have hear great things about Biergarten and might give it a try. Like to try MArrakesh, since we love the Tangeriene Cafe.

We are going to try Biergerten and Arkurus in Epcot. (I know I butchered the spelling probably)

We'll be there June 13-20 and are staying at CBR!
Not celebrating anything other than our kids' first trip. And we were planning on coming even before the 4/3 deal. LOL!

YAY!
