I dont know of any construction offhand. We usually fly. We have a small Saturn and I have a husband who is 6'4". LOL! I live in Slidelll Louisiana so you probably come right thru here.

Yep, we sure do. The last time that we came through, we had to eat at the IHOP off of I-10 because the kids wanted pancakes!

Got my Water Park tickets in the mail yesterday!!! And my other luggage tags the day before! Just waiting for my customized maps. Hope the last 4 weeks go as fast as the last 4 months, then the next 6 days after that go at a snail's pace. I'm bouncing aff the walls with anticipation.

Just found this thread this morning and I've been reading and reading and......finally made it to page 26 and gave up. Whew. We will be there June 9 -20th.
We are staying offsite in the Formosa Gardens area since we are going with my parents, grandmother, and my step sister and her kids. All together there will be 11 of us with 5 of those being kids ages 4-13. We are sooooo looking forward to it. Glad to see that I'm not the only 1 here obsessed with this trip.

The adr's we have are breakfast at Cinderellas Royal Table, lunch at Tusker house, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Princess Story Book at Akershoous (sp?), and dinner at Boma.

Got my vacation package a few days before that.

Can't wait for our trip. Only 36 more days!

But I just realized we will be there for Father's Day. Does anyone have special plans for that day? We will be going to Epcot and eating at Biergarten. Then for dinner going to Whipering Canyon Cafe and then on to Magic Kingdom. But all of this was planned before I realized it would be Fathers Day. The great part is this will be the first time DH will get to spend Fathers Day with his daughter, so he will get to spend it with both of his kids. So, I am trying to think of something to do.

Will these restaurants do special cakes and if so, how do I go about it?

Thursday - Dinner - Teppan Edo
Friday is Date night - we all go our separate ways for dinner.
DD#1 & BF-San Angel Inn,
DD #2 & BF - Le Cellier,
DH & moi - Restaurant Marrakesh
Saturday - Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Also have ADR's for breakfasts at the Kona Cafe and Grand Floridian Cafe on various days of out stay since DH does NOT like to wait at ANY restaurants, even in WDW! I am really looking foreward to having the Tonga toast again!! Yummy!
DD#2 & I are obsessing about the food! We browse the "food porn" pictures all the time!
"Food Porn" ?--yes, because it is ADDICTING!!! I've gained 5# just looking at the PICTURES!!!

I hope so! I ordered MINE earlier this week. According to the DW site : Delivery time: 2-4 weeks.

You can ALWAYS print them up yourself at home if they do not come in time.

We will be staying offsite in the Formosa Gardens area. We've rented a pool home since there are 10 of us going. That way we'll have room to spread out and can save a little eating some meals at the house. Of course it will be easy stuff cause I have no plans for cooking while on vacation. Thank goodness there's a microwave! We plan on leaving the parks and lunch time and going back in the evenings. That way maybe we'll miss the hottest part of the day. Of course there's no way to completely beat the heat in June. I wonder if it will be worse than what we have here in TX? Any TX dis'ers know????

Its being said that there isnt a room to be had on the resort for the last weeks of june...
I would imagine it will be JAM PACKED in the parks these weeks..GETTING NERVOUS!!

I just got back from the store picking up some things we need for disney. I have so much more to get but trying to space it out some. I'm so excited that i'm trying to hold off starting to pack already. I'm going to make a countdown calendar tonight for my oldest son. (kind of for me too!)
