We leave in six days and I still have things to buy and haven't start packing I just can not get moving and I have tons of things going on this weekend.

I booked a quick WDW trip 2 days ago for DS7 and myself (we leave in 8 days) for Star Wars Weekends. Southwest had a $54 rate (which is up to $138 now) and I couldn't resist. We'll be staying at Pop Century unless I can get in a DVC resort for all 4 nights, which doesn't look likely at this point. We have never stayed at Pop, so that should be fun to try out. I'm not telling DS7 we are going until we pull up to the airport. I can't wait to see his face! It's the first time I've only taken one of my sons. DS11 doesn't really care for Star Wars so he and my DH are staying home and having some 1 on 1 time at the beach.

The good news is that they sent you another shirt, free of charge. However, I can't believe that it began peeling right after the first wash. They must of had a bad bunch. I think that if I got another one, I would not wash it at all! Of course, what would you do with it once it was worn? I doubt that it would smell very well a few days later.

I agree, especially since we are going in this heat! LOL! Oh well, I can make the sacrifice and hand wash. But I was pleasantly surprised that they sent another one free of charge. YEAH to Disney Shopping!

5 days and 21 hours (I know that is really 6 days) but I like the sound of 5 days better. Is anyone else having difficulty being at work? I have to work today and tomorrow and I just can't seem to get into things. I some work to do but unfortunately nothing too pressing that HAS to get done! I keep thinking about all of the packing, cleaning, and last minute details that need to get done!
Oh well! I could be sitting here and not going to WDW so this is better!!!

We are leaving a week from friday and I am getting overwhelmed about packing and getting every thing ready. I feel like I cant pack cause we wear our clothes cause we dont have that many. lol.

Who else is leaving next week. Well I mean the 14 - 17th is when we will be in disney. I have never been and am very excited. We are taking our two girls 11 and 17. The youngest is so excited. Well so is the older one but it is more magical to the little one.

We are also going to daytona for a few days when we leave disney and so that means more stuff to pack for that leg of the trip also.

Oh my im stressed....outttttttttttttttt... anyway any last minute advice would be appreciated.

I am thinking about making a mickey mouse cake for the weekend and do a little pre celebrating for the trip.

Please talk to me. Be back later going to get my hair highlighted and cut. p.s. it is goin to be 98 here today.

I hear ya. I still have tons to do and I also decided to have a yard sale this weekend for some extra dough. alot going on but i dont work so i have some extra time but its not enoughhhhhhhhhhhhh.......

We will be at Disney June 12th thru the 22nd

We will be leaving a week from tomorrow also. We will be there from 6/13-6/22 and staying at the Boardwalk. We have extended family coming so we are a happy little group of 22 My children are 19, 17, and 15 and are over the moon excited. We have been there the past few years so they have been planning right along with me. I think it will surprise you how much magic there will be for your teenager. They turn into children again before your eyes, to me that is the best part of Disney. Have a great time.

Mmm..ya. So..it kinda hit me today that we leave for DisneyWorld this Sunday! Woo! So, my motivation to do much of anything appropriately work related is just about zero.

I did do all of the work things that I'm supposed to do But..I'm not exactly going out of my way to do anything extra.

What have I been doing instead?
Reading the Dis Boards,
Double checking my dining reservations
Double checked our airline reservations
Double checking a few surprises I have booked for my wife at Disney.
Ordered bottled spring water to be sent to the resort (Florida tap water tastes horrible)
Made a one page sheet with all of the park schedules on it (arts and crafts project!)
Made tables to check off our meals on the Disney Dining Plan (1 table service meal, 1 counter service meal and 1 snack per night at the resort)

and other Disney Related but not work or school related things.

I do have an exam on Saturday that I should be studying for. I have other clinical work that needs to get done before I leave and I have to take care of some administrative stuff. None of that happened today.

Before we leave I have to:
Get car's oil changed
Get cat food (indoor & outdoor)
Buy a new camera because mine died in Alaska last month
Clean the house
Mow the Lawn
Get my mani/pedi/wax
Get a massage to decrease back pain from that long flight
Get dog food
Write a note for the pet sitter
Go to school and take that stupid exam
Pack and help the wife pack
Get through one more day of work!

If Disney is as hot as it is here today..................... WOW! Man it is a scorcher here today. Freakin 94 degrees at 11 am! Any Canadians going to WDW in the next few weeks? If you can, will you bring one of those famous cold fronts with you when you come? It would be much appreciated!

Welcome!! We'll be there the same time as you (days at WDW 14-21, but leave on the 10th!).... I've still got soooo much to do, but here I am playing on DIS instead!!!! We'll have our Mickey Heads on our bags and strollers - I've been working on those, too - so if you see us, say "hi"!

We took our suburban in to our mechanic today to get the oil changed and have him go over the whole thing (our first time driving anything all the way to WDW that is this "old" so I'm a little nervous....).... that leaves the kids and me here at the house all day so we've almost finished packing and coordinating outfits for all of our park days - YEAH!!!! That's a big one down, even though it's not finished - although it could be finished if I'd get off here!!!

Still don't have hotels booked for the drive down.... we always just wing it, use the hotel coupons books you can get at the state rest areas.... I've tried Priceline a few times for Destin, but can't get one nice enough for cheap enough right now.... any suggestions???

Try to remember that it's your vacation! I used to majorly stress out before our past Disney trips, but last year I just kinda let things go and ended up having a great time. You'll be in Disney, what else is there?

A glass of wine in the evening helps too!

Not sure where you're coming from, but the last time we drove down 95 we stayed at a fantastic Springhill Suites outside of Savannah. Super comfey beds and the friendliest people.

Nine sure is a perdy number!!!
