Official June 2008 code watch

We'll be there June 7-14. We're staying at ASMu. We just got a AAA rate yesterday, so those are still available for some of the resorts. I think we got 10% off our entire package before taxes. Saved us around $150 or so.

since they are comming out with the free dining promotion, does that mean they will most likely skip all of us June people? We didnt get a code our last visit in June (2006) but did in 2003. We stay at the fort wilderness cabins and for that price we sure could use a discount or free park hoppers or something!!!!!!!!!!anything!!!!!!!!!please!!!!!!!!

I hope not. Even though its the busiest time (Thats what I heard), they should atleast give June people something of a discount.

Can someone tell me what the crowd level are going to be like in early June? I know that some kids are still in school then.. What would it be like the first week of June? Or the second week

We went when school let out in 2006. I live in MD and school let out second week of June that year. The crowd level was not bad. We were able to move around in the park OK. We also went July 3rd last year. It was bad!!! The weather was so hot my DH complained the whole day about the weather and the crowd level. I will never go in July again.

So without reading this entire thread, has there been any general public June codes yet? I just found out the only month my wife and I can take vacation will be june this year, so trying to plan something around one of the star wars weekends if possible.... Any thing going on yet with these time periods?

I just called CM and no codes have been posted. I see that the end of Aug just got free DP. Why can't June people too!

Does anyone think that since a new round of codes are coming out for Free Dining, that Disney will release something for summer too, at least some AP rates?

I finally booked... June 6 - 16th, Pop Century Standard (no Pref rooms left)... At Rack Rate now, hoping for something to bring it down a few bucks....

Last year AP rates came out for a few Deluxe/DVC resorts on May 16th and that was good for stays June 3 to August 4.

I wouldn't expect anything before May. I'll be staying at POP mid June paying rack rate.

If a code does come out for DVC/Deluxe resorts, how does this work? Do you have to cancel your ressie and rebook? Or do you just give them the code and they apply it to your account?

If the code works for your ressie they can just change it.

I'm still waiting although I think June/July will be out of luck again.

I have been playing around with our dates and different resorts on disneyworld.com and there are very few deluxe resorts available. Is this a true picture of June availability or do you think there probably are more rooms available, just not listed on the website?

I tried get POR online and then I called CRO and there is no availability at POR for the week we are going. So I booked a FW cabin, I'm going to keep calling hopeing for some cancellations. I'm excited to stay at FW, but we love POR and it is alot cheaper so i'll keep trying. Also, have my fingers crossed for some codes.
