congratulations!
I'm hoping DH falls in love with WDW this trip so we can consider DVC (it's our first family WDW trip!)

However on Friday and Sat DVC Resorts are mega points so if you stay longer than say Sun thru Thurs you may still want to stay occasionally at non-DVC resorts. We are renting points and that is the case for us so we will be staying at other hotels on Friday and Saturday.

Yeah, i have thought of this.. We usually stay 10days. moving once is OK, but movng 2 times on 1 trip is to much. We will figure something out I am sure.

I called yesterday and asked about AP rates for June. She said nothing past May 21st. I asked her if she thought any would come out for June and she said they never tell the CM's anything, that they only find out when they arrive in the AM and it pops up on their computer.

I am waiting for an AP rate. Wouldn't you know, this is the first time we are going twice in one year, which makes the AP cost-effective from a strictly ticket point of view, and they probably won't even have room discounts!! Just my luck!!

Are you in Florida? All of my family has passes except us I always think it's alot of $ , but we end up going twice a year for same price i should just pay it all at once & go all year long. We only live 2 hours away from Disney! We have Busch gardens & adveture island passes for now

I will preface this by saying I know one can never take what any CRO reservationist says as gospel, BUT, I spoke to someone today (trying to book a fairly last minute trip in June) and she said she honestly did not think they would offer AP rates for June. She added that they are VERY heavily booked for June!

I am a DVC member and have not "paid" for a room in years, but I was hoping to get an AP rate for June. I tried for a AAA rate and there were slim pickens' for the Deluxe resorts. She had WL for $294 a night. She also had a 1BR Villa at the BWV and the Presidential suite at the BW with a AAA rate uhm no thanks!

It has been a long time since I have said this, but I want a darn code! LOL!

Sadly if history repeats itself, if an AP discount comes out it will not be for the Moderates or Value resorts. It will be for Deluxe and DVC accomodations. It probably will not help us. The last couple years discount rates have only been for Deluxe/DVC during June and July.

we are staying at ft wilderness cabins from june 7-12. there is a camping board here, and they can answer anything about the cabins or campsites. Its the best kept secret at wdw if you ask us. peaceful and relaxing with lots of space( and no noisy upstairs neighbors!!!!) We are from ohio, so its like a little of home.

I tried to get some info over the weekend but was told it doesn't look good for June discounts. Considerring how many people I've talked to that are cancelling their summer plans due to the high cost of fuel and uncertain economy I find that really hard to believe. I'm holding out for a code to be released mid-may.

Also, I wasn't aware of it until we started adding days onto that trip (as we always tend to do) that there was a pretty good AAA discount at the Values. We took advantage of that and spent our first night in a newly refurbed room at Sports. I believe our Sports rate was $94/night. We could have stayed at POP for less, but we wanted to check out the updates at Sports.

Yes you are correct for July but as you can see this thread is for June and not July.
