Hello Dis Friend - You are cordially invited to our Dis Meet on July 14th at MK - 11:00 AM Dole Stand in Adventureland. Do not know who will be there to say Hi but if you find the time to spend about 15 minutes, we'll be there.

I will try. Not too sure if I'll be able to make it. We have an ADR at Liberty Tree for lunch that day. So if I do come, it might be for a few minutes or so. If I can't make it, I'm sure I'll see someone around that morning. I'll have a LGMH with my screen name on my bag.

OK - The Tavern has very good food and service. When they use to have the characters (Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale) during dinner, we would dine there.

Oh we know! We've been 26 times to WDW, and we're kind of in a set couple of places we eat when we're there. We're giving Le Cellier, Cape May and Rose & Crown second chances this trip. Among our other ADR's this trip we have Kona, Tokyo Dining, Shulas, Artist Point, Raglan Road, Brown Derby and Narcoosee's. I love seafood, my husband won't eat it so we rarely go out to restaurants that serve it, i'm hoping I'll like Cape May again. It's also just me, and my parents on this trip so we don't do character meals.

We booked a last minute trip to WDW next week. I'm so excited but are we crazy for going for the 4th of July? Are the crowds going to be insane?

You're lucky; I have to keep my 'Mouse Mouth' under control. I'm the only one in the house who has an undying love for Disney talk. I'm dismissed as crazy, until we get to the parks and they all follow me around like a herd of lost sheep. Seriously, if I didn't tell them where to go next, they would never make it out of the resort parking lot.

I know exactly what you're talking about!
My family is the same way!
They'd be lost without my planning!!
But it certainly pays off!

We finally got down which parks we'll be in.

7/12 Arrival Day
7/13 Not sure
7/14 MK
7/15 AK
7/16 DHS
7/17 EPCOT
7/18 MK
7/19 EPCOT

We usually only stay in the smaller parks until mid-morning then go to our ADRs. Then we frequent Epcot in the afternoon that way we're not elbow to elbow in crowds.

Also does anyone know if there is still a bus from AK to TTC? We have a dining reservation at a monorail resort on our AK day.

Got everything added. Don't know if there is a bus directly to TTC, but if you are going to a monorail hotel, couldn't you just take a bus from AK to that hotel? We have gone directly from AK to Poly before.

Are you crazy? Maybe, you will be amongst all kinds of other crazy people so it will be okay. It is very busy on 4th of July and the week of, but it is also fun. Just remember to tour early and hit things before the big crowds later in the day.

You are right. I've read about them (never seen them since I've never been), but no one has posted a thing about any groups. Strange.

Usually it isn't too bad until July so there might be some now, but they are not in full force yet.

I was able to take a bus to the TTC from AK in 2010. Haven't tried since. It took a while to get a bus in the middle of the day though. I'd just take the bus to a monorail resort, or if you want to ride the monorail take a bus to a different resort then where you're eating.
