Dang! Won't get to make use of that Shell offer this month. During that last big blast of winter Frederick was involved in a ridiculous "on purpose" - it was TRULY avoidable, simply don't take someone out for driving lessons when it is snowing so heavily that you can hardly see and the roads are not even close to track-bare! Hubby was on his way to a meeting that had to be in person and heard/felt the unmistakable scrunch on the bumper and then the screetch along the ENTIRE passenger side of the car as the newly-minted driver attempted to use a non-exisitant right turn lane. Why on earth she didn't take her foot off the gas on impact and continued to drive while still in contact with our car is a mystery. SO tomorrow Frederick will be going in for some serious reconstructive surgery to replace the bumper, rocker panel and BOTH passenger doors, close to 6K in damages and it will take 3 weeks :O Zero deductible because it was completely no-fault, hubby was stopped at a red light.
Our car insurance includes rental coverage but highly doubtful that it will need fuel in less than 2 days and we won't be driving it much.
