~~*Official July 2013 Thread!*~~Our Month has Arrived!

We're here! Arrived on the 9th, hit MK on the 10th later in the afternoon (boo wanted to get there earlier!) Epcot on the 11th, DTD yesterday, which was more fun than I remembered it from 2008, which was the last time I stopped down there... had a TERRIFIC meal at House of Blues last night, LOVE that place.

Be Our Guest was amazing, not only because the food was top notch, and of course the service, but because we got to close the place. Our party of 7 was the last ones out of the restaurant Monday night. The kids got to run from dining room to dining room, and I got lots of great pictures. It was a fun, relaxing visit, and we stayed through the fireworks, watching them from the area between the Castle and the Restaurant on the bridge. It was a different kind of fireworks experience because they were coming at us from both sides shooting left and right! What a thrill! My mother in law's first time at Dis and she was blown away! She's been in a wheel chair, and can't really walk more than a few steps due to a knee and spine problem, so we got on a lot of the 90 minute plus rides right away. I felt guilty, but it was a once in a life time chance and we took it!!! Im hoping she gets her knee and spine figured out, and we come back in a couple years. My inlaws LOVED the parks.

We ate at Rose and Crown at Epcot and had the Scotch Eggs as an appy and I highly recommend them, holy cow. SO GOOD!

Tonight we're eating at Joe's Crab shack which is right at our Resort ( silver Lake) And then heading back over to our condo for Cake and Ice Cream to celebrate my daughters 10th!

We unpacked and we to DTD for Dinner at T-Rex. Very good service and excellent food. Using my Landry's Reward Card, I received a 25.00 off Birthday present and I finally used my 25.00 new member rewards. 50.00 off of our 85.00 dinner bill.

We went swimming and I feel asleep in the chair so I missed Ifortin's Text to meet up. Sorry Ifortin, we see ya at the Dis meet.

We went to MK to see the new Fantasyland. We had lunch at BOG and walked right in!! DELICIOUS!!!

We went on Ariel's new ride and then got POURED on!! Oh well, it's only water!

We also rode Pirates, Splash Mt. and Big Thunder.
After a DoleWhip, we headed back to AKV-Kidani for a dinner of root beer floats!
Then the pool. What a great day!!

Hi everyone!
Our DD, 14 has a chance to go to New York City with a good friend of ours, so my DH and I decided to surprise our DS, 8 with a surprise trip to WDW!
We've never been able to go with him alone, so we thought this might be our only chance! Our daughter is 6 years older, so we were able to take her when she was little by herself!
We are staying at ALL STAR SPORTS July 22-26! We are super excited!

The "Big Reveal" was great!

The girls had a scavenger hunt - with all the clues related to Disney (of course!) like- "How did Mary Poppins fly?" and the next clue would be with the umbrellas. The girls had a blast and were soo surprised!!
We then drove to a hotel at the airport and flew down here this morning.

All day, my DGD-7 kept saying, "Best surprise EVER!!"

We had lunch at BOG- walked right in- and it was wonderful!!
We went on lots of rides- like Splash, Big Thunder, Pirates, Ariel, Small World. Lines not too bad! Maybe the rain helped!

Having a magical time!!

Still having an amazing time... We are having breakfast at CRT today before MK opens so I can't wait to walk down Main Street with very little crowds! Then it is pool time and a late night of watching Wishes from the beach. We are having amazing trip!

Stressing a bit, our 8 year old English bull Dog had to have emergency surgery Friday night, she is home but she needs TLC. None of my family can take her, it could not be worst timing. I want to give her TLC, but will ask a good friend if she can help. Ugggh the kids are stressed too, but we can not cancel the trip.
On the positive tip, she is O.K. and this could have happened when we were in Disney or she could have died. So not the worst timing but, close. In a way I feel like someone up there is looking out for us that we could make sure she is all set before we leave.

The kennel will take her for 1/2 of our days, but I need someone for this week when she needs her medicine. Poor thing, she is so sweet in nature.

So I am trying to have faith that it will all work out and I really think it will.

There is nothing like Main Street before park opening. We got some of our best castle pictures that way. Have fun!

I'll say to prayers for you. It's so sad when a pet gets sick. I always feel so helpless.
