I was up early with an awful backache this morning (I sense a trip to the chiropractor early next week) so I decided to do online check-in.

Everything seems to be ok with the car now (except for rear tires, which J is supposed to be taking care of finding today). Still keeping my fingers crossed, as this is just the kind of luck we have. For every good thing, it always seems like several awful things happen in return. I'll be holding my breath until we arrive at POFQ.

Hope your back feels better. Glad the car is better. for the car on your way to POFQ.

We leave in the morning We are driving from Texas so I checked on the FL DOT website and it says I-10 is closed from US 90 to I-75 and to seek an alternate route I am so glad that Debby is wandering out to sea but the poor panhandle of Florida is a mess. I am praying that the water will subside soon and that everyone will stay safe.

Speaking of staying safe - I was looking at pictures of the flooding and people are out walking in knee deep water....in a state full of alligators -- YIKES!!!

So, in the saga of the car...$650 later and we think everything is fixed, so we think. I noticed a weird squeaking noise when we were hitting the (new) brakes. J took the car yesterday to make sure it was ok (and that we didn't get defective brakes), and it looks like we have to replace either shocks or struts. We'll know for sure this afternoon.

My MIL responds with, "For all that money, you should just fly." Ummm...but we'd still have to pay for the car to be fixed (and plane tickets are WAY out of our price range at this point, after paying for the car).

Getting close for us. We had a sad Friday and really need to be distracted by getting ready for our trip.

DH finally pulled down the suitcases so I can start the "gathering" of prepacking.

DITTO! We are waiting our trip to WDW for our fireworks, just too dry here in Colorado and WAY TOO many fires so all shows and home fireworks have been cancelled. We can wait!!! WDW is soooo much better anyway.

We are packed and living out of the suitcase, Disney Must Do playing in one room, 2012 Disney Planning Video playing in another. Disney FEVER at 105 degrees.

The four of us are spending 3 days at POR from 7/18-7/21. First Time there and a Royal Room to Boot

Then we are moving on to OKW from 7/21-7/28. First time there as well. Both sets of grandparents are meeting us there for DD's 3rd Birthday (Last free year for her at Disney )

7/22 - Olivia's 6:05 Dinner
7/23 - CRT 12:20 Lunch (The big Birthday Celebration)
7/24 - Coral Reef 6:10 Dinner
7/25 - Mama Melrose's 3:55 Fantasmic Package Dinner
7/26 - Chef Mickey 5:15 Dinner
7/27 - Garden Grove 5:00 Dinner
