Can't remember if I've posted in this thread or not, but we leave two weeks from tomorrow!! First day at WDW is only 17 days away!!

Of course I'll be there in 9 days and I'm sick. Some kind of stomach flu I think (stomach cramps, nausea and oh such a bad headache.) Let's hope a few days in bed will help. Any recommendations? I'm getting plenty of fluid and trying to sleep as much as I can.

I know how you feel for the past 3wks each of us have gotten really sick, high fever, stomach cramps, eye infection, but since we wanna be 100% because we leave in 3wks exactly. I would suggest going to a doctor make sure you cover your bases you don't want to be sick on vacation. feel better enjoy your vacation!

Ironically I went to the doctor yesterday and just thought I had a headache or was tired. I'll stay in bed for a few days and see how it goes.

We got mousemail! UPS man was a pleasant surprise as I thought we had to pick up our tickets at WDW.

We arrive on Thursday. It will be my 3rd time on the 8:59am flight out of Phoenix to Orlando! The first trip was pure family fun at the Poly, but this and the most recent visit are tied to a meeting. The family gets to tag along and utilize our annual passes. It won't be all meetings as Friday and Saturday are reserved for WDW and we have ADRs each evening in the parks or resorts. We start by celebrating my birthday at the California Grill and fireworks! I can't think of a better way to turn 44.

I have so much to do! We leave in 11 days! I'm a procrastinator so this fits with my personality, but ack!

We are headed down by car, short stop in Atlanta to pick up friends then to Tampa for a few days, Busch Gardens for 2 of those days, then checking in 7/27 @ All Star Music & checking out August 2nd. On the way back we are hitting Jacksonville for the Wiggles concert and then a short stop in Savannah, GA so my daughter can see the founder of Girl Scouts home (and get a patch for the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts to add to her sash!), we have two additional nights we'll be away because we are headed to Toledo, Ohio to see my dad's stock car driving experience.

I am feeling very under prepared so I'm going to be lurking all over the place.

Here are our ADR's:
7/27 Scifi Dine In—5:25
7/28 Girls—Cindy’s dinner 5:20
Boys—Crystal Palace 5:15
7/29 Garden Grill 5:15
7/30 T-rex Lunch 2:30
7/31 Donald’s Breakfast 8:05
8/1 Chef Mickey’s 5:35

I hope my kids aren't burnt out on characters by the time we leave!
Also I need tips, DH doesn't handle heat well...

Hi, I've read enough dining reviews to make my head spin. The reviews of Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys for dinner are less than stellar. Check out Trip Advisor for reviews. Kona Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Teppan Endo, Biergarten and Via Napoli all get good reviews for dinner. And, DH might appreciate a break from the kid meals. I have played and played with ADR's so there is no problem getting them. You might not get the perfect 515pm, but a half our earlier or later should be easy.

I live in Miami. The intensity of the sun can be brutal from 11am until 2pm. The humidity is oppressive up until about 6pm. You can't spend all day indoors so wear hats and drink water ALL day long. You can seek out air conditioned rides or pop into a giftshop for a bit.

You vacation sounds FABULOUS!!! I wanna go! Getting to visit Juliette Low's home to purchase the 100yr patch is Girl Scout heaven!!! Go mom!
