Same here, only I think we're leaving a little earlier than you. It takes us about 6.5-7 hours depending on how much we stop. Maybe we'll see you on the road

If you see a gray Ford 500 going down the road with Hanna Montana CDs, DVDs, and Junie B Jones books flying out the window, you will know it is us and my DH has snapped. Leaving around noon on the 17th and hope to be at WL by 10:00am on the 18th.

Just counting the days and trying to get some color on my legs!

I am glad that you are having fun despite the rain. I think I would go for SOME rain if it meant smaller crowds on days when we are going to MK with the kids.

'The Taste of Africa Street Party' coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom on July 9


The full name will be 'The Taste of Africa Street Party', and it begins on July 9, running nightly until July 24, 2010 in the Africa section of the park. It's currently a limited time test, but may be extended if it proves popular.

The event begins each night immediately after Mickey Jammin' Jungle Parade, and runs through until park close. On Extra Magic Hours evening, the event will continue until the end of EMH.

The entertainment offerings include:

Music and dance party with Harambe's DJ Khalifa
Outdoor vendors selling unique food and beverages offerings
Performances by featured musical group, Wasslou
Beer and wine tastings at Tamu Tamu Courtyard
Authentic merchandise options available for purchase
Animal Education experiences with the Harambe Wildlife Team

soooo excited - we're leaving tomorrow for a long but exciting train trip to Quebec City

we've spent all day doing laundry and packing.

we're only going for a week but it's the whole - what are we going to need what are we going to forget what did we forget to buy so we have to rush around tomorrow.

we have to be at the train station at 11.30 but still have to get lunch and dinner PLUS now we have to go get toothbrush heads for the spin brushes since i just tossed them out thinking we had extras

it's times like this that i wish we had a motor home and i could just leave everything in it so we can just forget about all this and go.

i'm always thinking i'm forgetting something even if we just go away for the night lol how anal is that?????

and the bonus is that we get to do it all over again 5 days after we get after we get back LOL

We leave in one week!! I can finally start doing laundry and packing. I figure the week will fly by. Girls have soccer camp; I have hair appt; movie date to see Eclipse with bro and sil; a wedding; a bday party for my dad and WE ARE ON THE ROAD!!!

Two nights ago, I gave my girls lollipops that I had from our last Disney trip - one condition, they had to do a single digit dance!!
