That's how it was when we were there in July of 2008. It was almost full days of heavy, torrential rain. When it stopped, it was still drizzly and there were inches and inches of standing water everywhere!

WOW when did you go in July?? We were there for 14 nights starting on the 19th and I don't remember that. LOL I know it rained for a couple of hours in the afternoon a couple of times but we were chillin at the resort so that didn't bother us. Then one night we were headed to MK and it was still raining a bit but by the time we got there....it stopped and the ride wait times were like 5 to 15 min. IT was great. I think the rains cleared people out.

We got here last Tuesday. Yes, this is more than the usual quick afternoon shower... I am talking about 4 hour thunderstorms and drizzling rain for hours.

Looks like we traded weeks. Our anniversary is on the 12th, so that's usually the week we go. This year, with our 40% code, we wanted to get the best deal, so we waited until value season started for the Deluxe Resorts (which is July 18 )

I just printed our boarding passes! Some how, we have kept this a secret from DS7 and DD7. It has been so hard!!! We just gave them a stuffed mickey/minnie, and they were like, "ok".....but no questions.....we are just going to keep giving them disney stuff between now and tomorrow when we leave....until they finally catch on.........first trip and we are so excited to be staying at the POP! We greatly appreciate all the information we have gathered from this site.

Ugh....I miss living in a state in which fireworks are illegal. My neighborhood sounds like the Vietnam war right now and my poor dog is cowering under the coffee table Poor baby
