Sorry. I realized I forgot to write where we are staying. We are returning to the Wilderness Lodge. We love it there. This year we are trying out the villas since grandmom is going with us. How fun is that!! Since you are a Marie the Cat fan, have you met her in Epcot yet??? We got to see her for the first time. She does not do autographs, and does not stand still - we were told she is a "wandering" character, but if you catch up with her and have your camera ready you can get a picture. She is sooooo cute!

I feel like I'm in a lull right now. Got the room, ADRs, tickets. Mapped our driving. Have tentative schedule, packing lists.

So I'm gathering games/songs/things to do on the drive down to WDW and making sure we all have complementary outfits (same colors) to wear in the parks each day.

But it seems like I should be doing something else and I'm not...thoughts?

I keep wondering about some of our ADRs, too, but I think it's more trouble to try to change them. I am happy with them and honestly, with two small kids, we might not even get to ours. I totally feel the same way about being in a lull! I've felt like that for a while.

When DH and I were in Target yesterday, I kept looking for things to buy for the trip. I haven't even made a list yet but I guess now that the weather is warmer, it's just out of habit! So I think I'm going to start making my "to buy" and "to do" lists.

What's so funny is that if someone told us that we won a free trip and had to leave in one week, any one of us could pack up and be ready to go, yet we spend MONTHS planning! It's just such fun!

I keep wondering about some of our ADRs, too, but I think it's more trouble to try to change them. I am happy with them and honestly, with two small kids, we might not even get to ours. When we went in November, we only made one out of four ADRs since we got sick and decided to just relax more and go <gasp> spontaneously.

If DH had it his way, we would do ALL meals spontaneously!! Since we just went and got to eat at La Cellier - I am thinking of changing that one. Also, I am switching our first week ADRs to the second week - with the food in club level - and big meals, we will overeat, so I am just shifting. We also decided that we want at least one breakfast out when we are at the All Stars. I am thinking of doing 1900 Park Fare since we have never been there. We are also considering having no ADR for July 4th - and just snacking all around Epcot - we never get to try all the counter services there, and that might be a good day to do it.

My mom got DH and me disney gift cards too! And I'm 29! She recently stopped making an actual basket but she does put candy and stuff in a gift bag instead!

That's awesome! I have a feeling that my mom will end up doing something like that for me in the future. But hey, I'm never opposed to candy and Disney gift cards!

How fun is that!! Since you are a Marie the Cat fan, have you met her in Epcot yet??? We got to see her for the first time. She does not do autographs, and does not stand still - we were told she is a "wandering" character, but if you catch up with her and have your camera ready you can get a picture. She is sooooo cute!

Nope, I haven't met her yet, but I want to so bad! I've seen several people post pictures with her though, and she looks adorable. Maybe this year I should ask one of the Epcot character handlers if she will be appearing. What time of day was it when you ran into her?

She is in France in Epcot. I asked in one of the shops and they said she makes her rounds every 15 minutes from around 11am - 5pm. The first time we sat and waited about 1/2 hour and never saw her, this was around 2pm - so maybe she was on a break. The next time, it was earlier in the day - around 1pm.....she was down near the front of France to the right side of the fountain area (if you are facing the restaurant). You can always check with the cast members - they had a list of who was supposed to be appearing at the cash register. She is so cute!!
