I LOVE Illuminations, ESPECIALLY scary voice that tells us we are about to watch Illuminations:Reflections of Earth, then he blows out the torches, followed by the drums beating and the screechy noise with the first firework like a shooting star, it's just amazing!! I could cry just thinking about it! Thanks for the video! I'm sitting here with chills! And the funny thing is, I play Illuminations every single morning when my students come into the class and get started on morning work but it just doesn't get old! They even hum along now! I will be the most upset with Disney if they ever take my Illuminations away!

And I leave in EXACTLY 3 months from today!! Wooo HOooo!! OH and exactly three months form tonight, I will be watching Illuminations after a lovely dinner at the Rose and Crown!

Good morning fellow July goers! I'm in an especially DISNEY mood today! I think it's the warmer weather we've been having lately. I always pick these weird milestones to mark my next disney trip and now that winter is over, it was like one more hurdle that's passed!

Me too! It has been unseasonably warm here in CT, and it doesn't look like the great weather is leaving any time soon, so I'm starting to get REALLY pumped for my July vacation!

And last week my countdown entered the double digits!!! 93 days to go as of today.... can't wait!!!!!

I'm totally in a Disney mood today!! We're getting good weather and I saw my first robin of the season in my back yard this morning I just can't wait!!!

I've been in a DIsney mood too!! Since we're on Spring break, I feel like the trip is so much closer. This is the last big break from work/school before the summer comes! We have a long stretch at work starting on Wednesday, but it's the last stretch of the school year!

We also took the kids to the NY Aquarium earlier today. That's something we frequently do in the summer (they love it and we have the Wildlife Conservation Society Membership, so unlimited visits to the Aquarium, Bronx Zoo and a few smaller zoos in NYC). I feel like the trip is so close now...DH and I were talking on the way home from the aquarium, about how we have been waiting close to 2 years to take this trip, our first one as DVC Members!!

I also washed all of my older son's new Spring and summer clothing, which includes a whole bunch of Disney character clothing I had bought at the end of last summer on sale. I am going to be washing my little guy's new clothes today as well. This also makes it feel closer! I also started looking through my summer clothes, going to be putting away all the sweatshirts, sweaters and fleeces!

We are back and had a wonderful time. It was awesome to be able to say "we will be back in 3 months!!" That helped make leaving a little less painful. The crowds were not too bad - not as bad as spring break 09. I had a Dis meet with Mindy from the July 09 board - that was fun - we were at DHS the same day. The first few days it was chilly in the evenings, I kept reminding myself that I will be warm in July! Sunday afternoon was a complete rain out..... worse than a July storm because it did not stop until Monday around noon....but later in the week it was sunny and hot! I cannot wait to go back!
