How nutty am I? I can't even remember if I ever posted on this thread!
It's 50 pages long, so I am adding this now without reading through everything...sorry if I am repeating myself!
DH, me and our 2 sons will be heading back to WDW from July 13 through July 23, 2010!!! YAY!! We're almost at the 4-month mark already!
We're staying at Boardwalk Villas. This will be our first trip "home" as DVC members! Our last trip was in July 2008, and we stayed at Pop Century. We loved WDW so much. We looked into a DVC membership and it made sense for us. We chose BWV as our home resort because of the location and there is so much to do there. We will be staying 10 nights in a 1-bedroom villa every other year. We always travel in July. DH and I are both teachers so it works out for us. We drive down from Brooklyn, NY and we like to take our time and make it fun. My older son is 5 and my little guy will turn 3 on May 1st.
We can't wait to go back! We bought the DVC membership in the Fall of 2008 and have been waiting patiently (OK, IMpatiently!) to go!!
Our dining ADRs are in place. I am upgrading my ticket to an Annual Pass (DVC members get a $100 discount, which is great) and buying the Tables in Wonderland card. We originally had the basic DDP but I canceled it because we wanted more table service and less counter service, but the deluxe dining plan was too much food and too much money in comparison. With the upgrade to an AP and buying the TIW card, the savings means that we will pay the same as we would have for the basic DDP plus extra TS meals OOP, but we will get exactly what we want and not have to keep track of credits.
So, here I am, happy it is almost Spring...happy that we are nearing our 4-month mark. And so glad that for the first 4 nights of our trip, my parents and my sister, her fiance and her 2 daughters will be joining us! They are all staying at Pop Century, we didn't have enough DVC points for them to stay at BWV and it is much more expensive to stay there than at Pop. We're going to MK and Epcot together though, and doing a few character meals together. The boys and their cousins are very excited!!!!
So yes, it's hot and oh so humid in July...but we are early risers who get to the parks when it is still dark out (LOL, kidding!
)...seriously, we get there before rope drop. We take an afternoon break by 2PM the latest, and we go back in the evening for dinner, or sometimes we won't go back at all. Taking it slower this time too...7 days at the parks...2 at MK, 2 at DHS and 3 at Epcot (which includes one that will only be spent in the world showcase!).
Did I mention that I can't wait?
