We're ready to go! Younger DD and I are off to the Hacienda Hotel @ LAX; older DD will be meeting us there from Del Mar. And tomorrow we'll be off to Port Orleans French Quarter. We are so excited and thankful that we were part of this thread! - we learned a lot! Our 2 cases of Costco water are waiting for us at POFQ!

As Stephanie was saying, I did a lot (100+) of nametags this weekend. I've been slacking and have to get caught up before I leave (I think I'm only a week behind right now).

My printer has been out of ink, so I haven't finished printing all of the graphics for OUR shirts yet. It's on order and should be here in the next couple of days. Can't go to Disney World without matching shirts.

"Can't go to Disney World without matching shirts" -- unless you're my DH, in which case there is no cause on earth powerful enough to get us into matching shirts...LOL. Oh well -- I've tried. Tom, you get two thumbs up in my book for the shirts!

Has anyone checked the MK hours recently? according to the hours on the disney website MK has EMH on July 19th 12am-3am!!!!!!!!!! I also noticed some changes to the HS EMH schedule. Does this mean they are extending the hours because they are expecting higher crowd levels?
im just so excited MK will be open until 3am! how cool is that

I guess I need to check and update my calendar again! MK till 3am is so cool - we did it over Spring Break. I love late EMH at MK!!

Well no matching shirts for us - but just as I had given up on DH and DS were matching ball caps with us ; they gave in. I guess he really does love me after all.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't hear about the Monorail. I've been so busy the past couple days I completely missed it. How sad.

such sad news about the monorail train.. from what i've read so far, there were only a few people on each train, as it was at 2am


on a happier note...

it's 4 days til my vacation!! i cannot believe it's so soon, feels like i'm dreaming

got an amazing surprise yesterday... the postman delivered a HUGE box for me, when i opened it i found this.. it's from my sister! (she is a mad disney fan too, we are going to wdw together in Dec'09)

and inside, lots of little packages, wrapped in tinkerbell paper! ...

i cried a little, she is the cutest sister


hope all of you in the USA had a lovely July 4th yesterday (we don't celebrate it in England... we lost quite a big colony i believe !)

Thank you so much! July is a big bday month in my fam! My little sister's bday was the 3rd, my youngest daughter turns 2 on Wednesday, my mom is on the 11th, dh on the 22nd and me on the 26th! Plus a couple cousins & aunts in there as well! Phew!

They're taking the long way to Orlando (via Buffalo, NY & Harrisburg, PA). I get the house alone for 8 fabulous days & nights.

I might miss them a little.

Talked with my daughter yesterday about picking up the kids clothes today. We even talked about making sure they had sruff to wear tomorrow. Then today she reams me after reading an e-mail I sent to her because she said she had no idea I was going to pick up their stuff. She will not allow me to pick the kids up until 8PM tomorrow because she wants to say goodby to them but yet she scheduled an appointment to have her hair colored after work tomorrow.

She is mad because this is just stressing her out. This will be the last time I am ALLOWED to take the kids. You would think I could at least get a small simple thank you. But no I am getting yelled at! Go figure. We will be gone in less than 48 hours and then I will not need to deal with my daughter taking her stress out on me ever again! At least until we get home.

Ok, so I just went in for a trim on my hair...and the girl answered the phone in the middle of my haircut, came back and before I could say a word, cut a piece way too short and completely screwed up. To even it out I now have the shortest haircut I've ever had in my life!! I hate it.

I'm in packing frenzy right now. Runnin around all moning getting last minute items..and now I've realized that our suitcase situation just isn't going to work! ARRGG. My big suitcase is too big - I don't want to risk a charge for over weight AND over sized (that woudl be over $250 in charges) so I'm hunting down 2 new medium ones from family this afternoon. ARRGg. I HATE PACKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
