Add me to the list of "messing with ADRs" Nikki - don't kill me! We had to move stuff around so DH could see the shuttle launch, plus he (the one that had no input before) wanted the girls to see MIckey when we get there. So, take off July 11th Ohana 6:50, add July 11th Chef Mickey 5:10, take off July 14th HDDR 5pm, add July 14th Narcoosee's 5:55, take off July 17th Narcoosees, add Ohana 8:30. I am going to keep trying for an earlier time on that one, but at least it's on the books.

Next item on the "to do" list: DH finally agreed with me that he needs some shoes to wear at WDW. Last time he wore tennis shoes, and he wore tennis shoes to Sea World, but he has decided he would like some sandals of some sort (of course they have to be "manly" sandals). He doesn't like Crocs (the "regular" ones -- although he is willing to try Crocs flip flops). Anybody have any suggestions on footwear for him? My girls and I will be wearing our Crocs all week (Malindis for me, Mary Janes and Malinidis for them).

you might want to check into some KEEN sandles. They are very comfortable. However, they are a little pricey

I just booked a wishes cruise for July 11. We have room for 6 more if anyone wants to split it with me. Leaving at 9 from Poly.

I might be interested in this. There are 4 of us what is the expected cost? Are you going to be in MK on that day? Maybe we can meet and go together.

Ok first let me get the bad news out the way, which has put everyone in my vacation party in quite a low mood...
DBF's niece (4).. the littlest princess in our group, may not be allowed to come on holiday with us
there's a lot of bad-feelings between the niece's mom and dad (they are separated... he now dates DBF's older sister, they've been together over three years tho!)
he has every right to take his daughter on holiday, but her mom has said she won't allow it ?!?! this vacation was booked in January why couldn't she have said then that she didn't want us to take her daughter on vacation? not waited til we have less than 3 weeks to go and everything is paid for!
unfortunately it looks like they might have to get a family lawyer involved..

so please send us some pixie dust!! i'm trying to stay positive and hope that they can work this out..

keeping the BBB appointment booked for now too, i was sooo excited about taking her there ! and giving her a gorgeous little Cinderella dress the night before we fly to Orlando ... ohhhh it's so not fair!!

Ok ok.. on to the GOOD news...

a) It's 17 DAYS to go now

b) our plane tickets, luggage tags etc arrived from Virgin Holidays at the weekend (that's as close to Mickey Mail as we'll get )

and if the worst does happen, and we can't take DN on vacation, i hope the 7 of us will still have a magical time

I will send all the pixie dust I can muster. It is so wrong when one parent uses the child to hurt the other parent. In the end the only person that gets hurts is the child. In this case she will pay for the rest of her life. I hope you can find a person who can reason with mom to allow her to come on the trip. Let us know what the outcome is and try not to let this mess with your trip because then she really wins.

Well that's just horrible. I can't imagine doing that to a child. I understand, as a mother, how hard it would be to let my child go overseas, but it's not as if the child is going with strangers; she's going with her father! She's probably just trying to be in total control. My ex sister-in-law is that way.

Janet says you do not know what you are getting into as we will have two teenagers with us. Beth;s Bday is just the day before.

I am very happy to go. I believe it will be a blast kids (all four) and all. There are now 8 more eyes to watch the littlest one and more folks to help keep them entertained and happy. We must remember that I am very familar with those that have special needs and love working with them so I cannot see getting thrown anything that will dampen the magic.

Time is sneaking by and I have so much to do!


My DD14 and I have spent a lot of time in the last couple of weeks working on the scrapbook of our last trip (two years later, but who's counting? LOL). I promised myself I would finish that scrapbook before our upcoming trip. We're almost done....and we've been compiling a list of things we need to be sure to take pictures of on this trip -- things we missed on the last trip because it was our first trip and we were so fixated on rides that we didn't really take time to notice much else!

I've started picking up various items that we'll need to have...extra disposable ponchos, water flavoring packet (like Crystal Light packets and Propel packets), snacks, moleskin, extra bandaids and Neosporin, and a few extra bottles of hand sanitizer (the small ones).

The only problem is they run on the wide side, so I can't wear the women's model. But if your men don't have narrow feet, it is perfect. They sell them at LLBean and at Eastern Mountain Sport and I think at REI also. There may be other stores near you, I think Dick's Sporting Goods also has them.

Now that I'm finally past the Bar Mitzvah and Project Graduation, I'm gonna be one scrappin' momma!! I have to finish our October trip!! The only albums that get finished in my household are the Disney albums. Haven't even started DD21's baby album although I did almost a year on DD7's album!
