Since they are staying on property you should be able to make ressies for 10 days at the 90 day mark. Just curious...what kind of tickets do you have where MK isn't available?

I'm a CM so July is a blackout month.

Good to know about the 10 day rule - I didn't know that!!

I didn't realize the Fanstimic Dining Package was only between 3:30 and 5 p.m. -- that's good to know! It's not a problem to eat so early, really -- we'll just get snacks later in the evening...I'm just not used to eating dinner so early. LOL

I might call back and try to get Spoodles on 19 July...the dates I asked them to try were 21-25 July. Doesn't hurt to try again!

I called back again later today (again, no hold time at all) and cancelled Coral Reef on 24 July and changed it to Restaurant Marrakesh at 12:00. I convinced my girls that we needed to try another new restaurant on this trip, and we all love Mediterranean food. We all liked Coral Reef on our last trip but my girls said the only reason they really wanted to go back was for the cheesecake. LOL I told them I was sure we could find cheesecake somewhere else during the trip. LOL

Just made my ADRs and BBB reservation. I was on the phone right at 7 a.m. and had zero hold time. And I've already called back and changed one reservation (LOL) and again had no hold time at all. A couple of things I wanted weren't available in the time frames I wanted, so I'll probably do some changing between now and our trip. But for the most part I got what I wanted:

7/18 'Ohana, 5:20 p.m.

7/21 50s Prime Time Cafe, 11:10

7/21 Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine, 4:10 (I really didn't want it this early but it was the only time the system was showing available. I was hoping for closer to 6 p.m.)

7/24 Coral Reef, 6 p.m.

BBB appointment, 7/20 at MK, 8 a.m.

I tried to make reservations for Spoodles for any time at all during our trip and was told that the computer system couldn't even access Spoodles, so the CM said she thinks it will be closing prior to our trip. I was sad about that. I thought they weren't closing until August but apparently that's not the case.

I am going to keep trying back for a later time on the Fantasmic Dining Package. I really didn't want two ADRs on the same day but we're kind of locked in to DHS that day since my kids really want to see Fantasmic, and they also really want to eat at 50s PTC. We'll see if that stays or if I end up changing it. LOL

I'm thinking about adding one more ADR but haven't decided yet. I'm thinking about doing one somewhere in DTD on Saturday, 7/25 -- any suggestions?

Got an email this morning from Poly IPO saying all my ADR's are booked! yay!!!!

Tinkerbell60 -- We thought about not doing the Fantasmic Dining Package...we did it trip and that night there was a huge thunderstorm and they cancelled Fantasmic after we were all already seated. So we had to come back another night to see Fantasmic and we waited in line for at least an hour and a half to get in, and then sat for another hour so before the show started. Made for a very unhappy DH....so he said that if the kids want to see Fantasmic again, we have to do the dinner package so that we don't have to stand in line so long to get in, since we'll be sitting for a long time waiting for the show to start. He really hates lines. LOL Who knows....if they end up adding more Fantasmic shows and nights I may end up cancelling it a little closer to our trip. I hate to spend that much money on a buffet b/c we really don't each that much.

The threads about Fantasmic attendance over the last few weeks are really what convinced me to do the dinnig package -- 2+ hours in line is insane.

I totally understand why you are doing it - I also sympathize, my kids do not eat enough to justify buffets either. I am sure the last few weeks have been awful because of the Easter/Spring Break crowds - we were there and I have never seen it so crowded. I would hope they are going to add Fantasmic shows if they expect big crowds - that is what they did for the week before Easter - they did show it every night. Good luck!!!

Well after a disasterous first attempt to make ADRs where the CM clearly didn't understand my accent and clearly couldn't find my booking I called back again yesterday and I now have a Crystal Palace Breakfast booked for the 17th July and Chef Mickey's Breakfast booked for 23rd July!! Woo hoo!!! Can't wait!!

Under the 90 day mark. I'm so excited!

How is it that I had my ADRs planned for MONTHS and now the night before my 90 day mark, I have to double check and rethink and rearrange and add....

Tomorrow is going to be busy for me. There's talk on the "codes and rates" board that an AP rate may be coming out tomorrow for dates after 6/6. If that's the case, not only will I be making ADRs but I'll have to figure out if an AP rate will be better than my buy 4 get 2 free package I currently have...

Totally understand. I just got through having a family meeting about the same thing, making sure everyone was on the same page and I am NOT changing anything after tomorrow. They thought I was crazy. I'm not crazy, just a nervous wreck!!
