What happened??? Hope there were no problems. I don't like how you said in your TR that you "saw the other side of disney." That doesn't sound good!!!

Our cruise just solidified how much we are truly "park people" and we had nothing but fantastic experiences during our time in the parks.



Still haven't read through all the pages and pages I missed on this thread but I promise to get to it tomorrow and hopefully start my TR. I REALLY want to work on my photopass cd and book first though!! If nothing else, I will post the pics of the disers I met!

Our times in the parks were amazing as usual. It was almost all our other "issues" that I'll definitely get to in the tr....

But honestly... It just made us realize how we are ableto turn ANY experience into a fun one, and i thought that was an awesome awakening for us. That all our hardships in the past have made us turn to laughter instead of anger you know? Lol

I totally wish we could have ran into eachother! I thought iw as going to havemy computer to track everyone!

Just got back!

Exhausted and all I can think about is a relaxing bath and my bed hehehe

I will also post a pic of Tinkerbell60 and I. And will have to wait for princess 2 be and nikki to post our pic since I didn't take one with the camera.

We had a great 2 weeks. But the last week was hot. And we rarely did any park hopping in the afternoon or at night. We enjoyed movie nights and reading nights hehe

So I finally got through almost all of our PhotoPass pictures yesterday...and guess what? The pictures that we were most excited to see didn't make it! We're so sad! We had some really cool pictures taken at TL in the Wave Pool -- a series of 3-4 pictures with the big wave coming up behind us and then running into us...and all of the other pictures made it but those. The photographer was having problems getting the PhotoPass card to scan but it finally did...but I guess it really didn't.

And somehow we lost our DD10's camera on the trip home (DH thinks he accidentally knocked it out of the van when we stopped at a rest area), and that was the camera that I used in the water parks so it had ALL of the other water park pictures on it. I guess it's a good thing we're going back in October...we'll have to redo all of our water park pictures!

Other than that, most of the PhotoPass pictures turned out pretty well. There are only a couple that are out of focus, and in a couple of them the photographer cut off the side of someone's body, or the top of their head, but they took enough other shots that I don't need those. We definitely took more pictures at EPCOT and MK than anywhere else. The only PhotoPass pictures we took at AK were the ones in front of the tree (and the girls had magic shots there), and at DHS the only ones we took were in front of the big hat (DD14 and I had magic shots there). We just didn't see any PhotoPass photographers anywhere else in those parks the days we were there. Oh well!

Most of the schools in the area around me are starting back today. Our schools do not start back until September. I think that we are the last county to start in Georgia.

I go back for my first teacher workday tomorrow.

I have to report back for pre-planning on August 25th, so I have a few more weeks. But when anyone else is enjoying there summer vacations in June, we are all gritting our teeth the get out.

I hope that you both have great school year.

I would definetly call photopass! I'm sure they can retrace your pics!

Plus my body's is angry with me. Apparently I did not eat healthily enough for it lol Well it was my first trip without my gall bladder, so the junk food got to me hehe

Back to eating fruits and sleeping a decent amount of time hehe

And work (school) starts August 26. So I'll have to get ready for that with lesson plans and all. Sigh. Back to reality!

I thought our school started early! The kids got out June 12 and go back August 26th. DD starts band camp next Monday though - August 10 so for her, summer is almost over.

I'm back at work today....almost didn't make it.

We flew from Orlando to Austin. We were supposed to be on the ground for 40 minutes (staying on the same plane) and arrive in Long Beach around 7pm (PDT). Then drive the 4 hours home.

Well....40 minutes in Austin turned into 3 1/2 hours. We didn't get in to Long Beach until 10pm. Got our luggage, found the car and got on the road around 11pm, to bet around 3am. At work at 8:03am.

Someone poke me every once in a while to make sure I stay awake.

I third the rec to contact photopass about your pictures...we were missing some and as a PP said, we talked to them and told them the approximate date, time and the location and they were able to add them with no problem. It is worth a try!

Thanks Julie!! I was just going to post that exact same thing. And yes Stephanie, they found my pics in about 48 hours or less. I filled out the online form but you can call them also. Good Luck, and I hope your daughters camera shows up.

If it was around 4:00 it was us! We were heading to 1900 park fare! He totally should have came over to us!

That time sounds about right. We had been at AK for the day and came back to the Lodge for the kids to swim and cool off, AK was packed and soooo hot!! We went to MK around seven that night when things cooled down. I was chillin in the big ole lobby. What can I say... he's 14 and not much on people interaction. Sorry I missed you guys!
