Flipflopmom,

you only have a copy paper box of extras. Yikes I have a plastic tub filled will a bath mat (cuz there are none in the tubs at pop - got it a dollar store - leaving it behind when I go.), window and door decorations, shoe organizer to hang in the closet so all our toiletries aren't on counter, 5oo cans of sunscreen , camera, camera charger, tension rod and curtain to hang between sink and bed area (my kids have reached the privacy stage),
coffee, and filters and mugs and sugar,

You know maybe mext time we should just think about taklng a mobile home.

Thanks! I have never been in July before and am a little worried about heat and crowds, but at least we will be in WDW!!! It will be our 10th trip but the first for our 2 new kiddos! We have recently taken in 2 kids from the school where I work. They have really never been anywhere, much less Disney World, so we are soooo excited to be taking newbies!

Welcome!!!!! You are exactly right! A hot, crowded day in WDW is better than any other day anywhere else!!

I have seriously considered Owner's Locker myself! That is one reason why we now drive instead of flying!

I just added another ADR...I'll be cancelling one of the others but I'm not positive which one yet...probably 50s PTC, Restaurant Marrakesh, or Coral Reef...not sure which one yet.

Well, Mom had a headche this evening, she's really been overdoing it trying to get a lot of stuff done before Dad's surgery. They have 1 or 2 appts a day while we are gone between the two of them. So, we still had Miss Sophie home with us this evening. Not too disappointed, though. Mom needs her rest.

Finally got DH to get his shorts out, and toldl me which ones he wants to take, and he got all the camera stuff together, also.

I'd love to take a tub instead of a box, with all the extras, but I don't think it will all fit in the trunk of our little gas saving Kia as it is! Nothing like being crammed like sardines for 12 hours with two monsters disguised as princesses! JK, they're adorable sweet girls, but they do the typical sibling fighting in the car. My brothers are so much older than me, I don't remember any road trips with them. DH swears this is normal, and that he has turned into his father. "Do you want me to stop the car?" "No, we're not stopping for you to go to the bathroom." My personal favorite - "If we stop for something to drink, you'll just have to go pee again. Swallow your spit!"

Lois, since you are leaving soon, if we don't talk before, see you Saturday. Have a safe flight!

Everyone else - chat with you tomorrow! I have 3 days to get it done, and DH wants to pack the car Thursday night, so I have 2 days to finish all that.

Oh.... I feel for you flipflopmom! Driving that far in a gas saving Kia?! I can imagine that because we drove from Houston to Disney non-stop in 1990 in a 1987 Ford Escort Wagon.. talk about sardines!! But we only had one toddler then. These days, I can't imagine doing it. We were young then! We have a Honda Civic and we can't even make it 5 miles to the mall with all of us in it without the oldest 2 fighting! I've been daydreaming about how cool it would be if our Silverado had a truck cap. Then we'd be able to bring even more stuff!! Of course the 15mpg would cost WAY too much. We'll have to settle for 20mpg in my van with the Thule on the top! At least at 8 passenger capacity, all 5 of us would fit inside. The key is my MIL and niece are meeting us there, so we do need to be able to fit 7, so only one seat can be sacrificed if necessary.

Hello Everyone:

Just wanted to say that I am leaving tomorrow at 4:30am for Disney World!! I wanted to just take a quick second to thank all of you on this thread!! You've all be so great in helping plan my vacation!

I'm not sure what I would have done if I didn't have you all!!! Anyway.. I hope all of your trips are FANTASTIC AND MAGICAL in their own special way! And I really look forward to reading all about them when I return.. And who knows... maybe I"ll do my first ever trip report..

We are taking a small refrigerator. I didn't think about taking our coffee pot. DUH!

Well, the cat's out of the bag. DH decided that we should tell the kids so that they would have something to look forward to, especially since everyone we talk to ask them what their big plans are this summer. DD12 said she already knew something was up since I was always looking at WDW stuff. DD9 was so excited when she found out that we would be there for her birthday that she squeezed the air out of me! Now they are helping me pack by bringing me everything that they own! DD12 has already begun charging her digital camera and we still have 6 days until we leave!

Now I wonder how I am going to make it another 6 days? It's hard enough with my own excitement, but throw in three ready-to-go-now kiddos, we all might end up with major anxiety!!
