Too funny! How are you keeping this a secret, and when are you telling the kids! Remember - in order to dream you MUST SLEEP! 3am? Have you even gone to bed yet? Of course, I was UP at 5...

I know, but it is so hard to go to sleep when I am SO excited!!

As far as how I am keeping it a secret from the kids, I keep telling them that I would like to go to different states each day. The other day I told my DD12 that I wanted to go to Graceland. She said "What's that?" When I told her, she just said, "Why would we want to go there?" We are just going to load up the car and set out and tell them that we have no idea where we are going but that we will just end up somewhere. I am sure that she will figure it out once we hit Florida, that is if she isn't sleeping!

That sounds like something I would do. I wish I could surprise my DS with a trip, but he has to know what is going on and I'm afraid we would have more meltdowns.

I was reading a Diser's Facebook postings and she was on ME at 3:00am to the airport and said a family of 4 from London was already on the bus and a family of 6 from MI was being picked up at POR. Wonder if it is anyone from this thread since I saw some were leaving today.

It's been really hard not to say anything, but we are doing it!

I wish that I was on ME at 3:00 am instead of being on the computer!!

This time tomorrow we will be at the Airport!!!!​

I did it and printed off all of our information just in case there is a mess up with the reservation. Unfortunately, I was not able to request a building so I will have to call them today.

That is hilarious! That's one good thing about my girls knowing about the trip -- I haven't had to worry about sneaking their clothes out. Of course, I do have a few little surprises that I need to manage to get into their suitcases without them knowing about it (character pajamas). I bought them each a little stuffed Minnie Mouse and I'm going to sneak those out to the car and buckle them in to the girls' seatbels just before we get in the car so that the girls will find them when we get in the car. I'll sneak their new pajamas into their suitcases when DH and I take the suitcases out to the car, so that when they open their suitcases at the resort their new pajamas will be on top. Two new t-shirts will be in their welcome baskets when we get there...so now I just have to figure out when to surprise them with their new bracelets....any thoughts?

Maybe surprise them in the morning - place it on their pillow or serve it to them on a disney paper plate!

Also txmom2princess who used to post on this thread will be there with us. she actually lives in the same small little tinie tiny town as me. - What are the odds?

That is so funny. I'm proud of you for being able to keep it a secret. When I was researching Disney I was trying to keep it a secret and every time I got on the computer one of the kids popped into the room so that went out the door fast.

There is a thread in Theme Parks from someone there now that says to bring bug spray, there are mosquitoes everywhere!!!!! This Diser said they've not had problems with them until this year... One more thing for the suitcase!

I got a report from some of the people at my convention that they are HORRIBLE!!!!! Got my bug spray all packed.

15 hours before we are on our way!! Only 15 short hours!!!​

I just added another ADR...I'll be cancelling one of the others but I'm not positive which one yet...probably 50s PTC, Restaurant Marrakesh, or Coral Reef...not sure which one yet.

15 hours!!!!!! WOW Lois!! That's so awesome. According to my desktop I have 3 days, 22hours, 44 minutes, and 23 seconds! I told Brad we were going to meet up at the Poly Beach just to say hi! I'll see you at 9 at the boat dock on Saturday!

How do you guys that fly do it? I have 3 suitcases, 2 toiletry bags, 4 park bags, a copy paper box of extras stuff like stroller fans, and a shoe bag, not to mention the "occupy us on a 12 hour road trip" stuff in the car for the girls!!!! We may have to leave stuff there just to get the souvies home!

I am so sleepy today I can't motivate, maybe that's my body's way of compensating for the week ahead? Anna Kat went to spent tonight and tomorrow with a cousin, Sophie's staying with my parents tonight ( I hope she'll stay). First child free night in 2 years!!!!!! Thursday they're both going to Brad's parents for the day, cleaning and last minute stuff, here I come. I keep putting off my trip to Wal Mart. I hate that place! Also need to pick up some postcard stamps, run the car through the car wash, vaccuum it out. Okay, I am stopping there, I don't want to think about it!

2 DAYS!!! ... well 36 hours really!!!!!!!

all this waiting, planning, dreaming... it's finally going to happen - my summer 2009 WDW vacation!

when i was driving home from work, listening to Illuminations music, i just screamed out loud with excitement... hope no other drivers heard me! i'm that excited!!

just printed out all the planning documents for my little file - and a 'prettier' and simpler version for the rest of the party.

suitcases are packed and downstairs, waiting for last few things to be thrown in tomorrow

DBF is doing a very important job this evening... eating everything out the fridge that'll go bad if we don't use it today!

after work tomorrow, we will be heading over to DBF's parents & younger sister's house to stay there - before heading to airport thurs morning... his older sister & her DBF (and possibly DN... fingers crossed still, it's killing me not knowing if she's coming or not!) are driving down from the north of england too... so the whole party will be together!
can't wait to give out my Disney Eve presents to everyone!

For all you dare devils out there,

It has been reported that the Yeti is WORKING!

Now when we went last EE wasn't even built. So my DD and I basically are going to AK for this ride. Plus all the other crazy rides that she was not tall enough for last time.
I had read that the yeti was working in "B" mode, it had strobes on it and if you weren't looking for it you could miss it. But now I hear it has been restored to full "A" mode. I guess they worked after hours to get it going. Yay Disney!

Yeti here we come!

I just did our online check-in Now it seems really close even though it is still 10 days. The online check-in was a breeze hopefully it will be that easy when we actually check-in at the hotel!!

Also, thanks to those that gave me tips for the water parks. It sounds like getting there early is the key

In case anyone is interested I think I am going to drop our ADR for Hollywood & Vine on the 20th at 4:05 if anyone is interested in picking it up. We had done that ADR for the Fantasmic package but now they are showing Fantasmic 5 times while we are there so I think we will take our chances with catching one of the shows. I will probably drop it early next week.

Anytime! Should we do this again later? I am trying so hard to be productive, but it's just too darn hard! I did accomplish cleaning the toilets (yuck ) and doing some more laundry. That will give me more clothes to sneak into the kids' suitcases!

Sounds like you need to sneak them into their drawers so they don't have to mismatch for a few days!
