OFFICIAL JULY 2009 THREAD!!! (Part 2) It's here!!

I printed the rest of the graphics for our t-shirts last night. Now I just have to cut them all out. :scared1:

DW's job is to wash all the shirts :laundy: before we apply the iron-ons. I'll let you know when THAT happens. She has lots of summer activities planned for her and DS5. Tuesday-free movies, Wednesday-scrapbooking, Thursday-free movies. "You have a 16 day trip to pack for, woman!!!" :rotfl:

I also made a few window clings for our room. :cool1:

I know I am very late joining in this thread but we have had to rearrange our trip this summer several times. We will be there July 23-29! Can't wait!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Welcome!!!
Thanks! I have never been in July before and am a little worried about heat and crowds, but at least we will be in WDW!!! It will be our 10th trip but the first for our 2 new kiddos! We have recently taken in 2 kids from the school where I work. They have really never been anywhere, much less Disney World, so we are soooo excited to be taking newbies!:yay:

I love looking at all of the pics. It's helping get my kids excited for the trip.

I'm going to attempt to post one of us.................keep your fingers crossed!

Is it hard to make the shirts? I found some graphics that I'd like to put on shirts, but I've never done them before. Where did you buy the iron-on transfer stuff?

Great -- less than two weeks to go, autograph books and my planner aren't even made yet, and I'm thinking about adding another project to my to-do list! DDs and I are doing "reverse tie-dye" Mickey head t-shirts (using diluted bleach and a spray bottle) for the girls to wear. I tried to convince DH to wear one....:confused3

It looks like somewhere in DHS on the Streets of America. I rarely walk back there.

People..... that is the facade front of the court house from the movie Back To The Future!! Its somewhere at DHS in the back lot sets.

I can't believe while I was scrapping... we went from page 4 to 8!! I have 7 more layout pages to finish two of which haven't been printed yet. Gotta narrow 22 pix of DHS Block Party down to 4-6 pics.

I too want my house reasonable in order. I would be so depressed coming back from a nice tidy villa to a ginormous 3 story mess!! :guilty:

As for the mosquitos; we drive down and I can remember arming ourselves with OFF to get out of the car to buy gas at night. There were a million and they were as big as my head. And mind you, I'm from Missouri, we have some nasty prehistoric bugs here.:scared1::scared1:

I bought mine from a DISer over on the Creative DISigns board. Before you buy make sure you know if you need "light" iron-on paper or "dark" iron-on paper.

Light paper is actually clear, so everthing that isn't printed becomes the color of the shirt you use. If you have white in your picture and are using a shirt that isn't white, this might not be the best paper for you.

Dark paper is actually white. Everything that isn't printed stays white. This is the paper I use.

hahaha that's exactly how I described the building to my mom.

Ok, I finally know what it is. I love these movies. Why did I never notice this!

With all due respect, the mosquito is the NJ State Bird..:rotfl:

You have no idea what bad mosquito's are until you come live with us in NJ..:thumbsup2:scared1:

Anyone else watching the Michael Jackson memorial?

It's so moving! I can't stop crying!

Thanks!
As with a previous poster, I could see it from my end but I don't think anyone else could.

:thanks:

It's also the Alaska state bird...after having lived there for 10 years, I can tell you that no one is exaggerating when they say that, in Alaska, you can both see and hear the mosquitos coming. They're huge. Huge.

It's even cuter when you hear it!

I can't wait to see his face when he sees the Mowse for the 1st time. I could cry right now and am sure I will when it happens!
Hope you plan on videotaping that priceless moment. :goodvibes

Has anyone tried those off clip on things for your belt - they're not exactly cheap and another thing that needs batteries but if they really work I might invest

I just finished watching it and I too was crying. I really didn't think I would but I am:sad:

Cashed in all the change out of the cookie jar - :woohoo:pixiedust: another $100.00 bucks for Disney:rotfl:

15 hours before we are on our way!! Only 15 short hours!!!

OMG. I don't think I would know what to do with myself. Did you even get any sleep last night?

Okay when I left work last night the girls told me to be sure and goose Mickey and pluck the Duck - do you think I'll get thrown out of WDW for getting that personal with the Guys:lmao:
