A change of plans we are going to stay at the Villas of Wilderness Lodge instead of Baylake Tower. My mother in law like the VWL look better. I think it will be more disney looking for her.

We're going back! just confirmed vacation days at everyone's work, and we're going to the world 12/31-1/7 !! yeay! so that's mostly january 2013 right? i'm so excited i've already started my packing lists. nuts? yes. yeay!

Let me know where you are staying and I'll add that too!

I finally got the official go ahead, from the DH. Since our June trip, he has said that since we went in June, the January trip was out. Yesterday we got Mickey Mail, thank us for our recent trip, and a package from an old employer, letting him know he still had money in some kind of 401K or retirement fund (can't remember what it was). After some convincing, the DH decided it would be best to use that money for a WDW birthday trip for me. I know we will arrive on January 9th, but not sure on the date we will leave. It'll either be the 12th or 13th. Since you'll just have to update it as soon as we book it, you can just leave me like I am until I know the dates and resort for sure. We still haven't decided what the resort will be. I would love to stay in a CL room with a TPV. It'll just depend on what I can convince the DH to.

Me too!! Planning this trip has been so crazy!!! It was first scheduled for May 2012, then November 2012, December 2012, then January 2013, back to November 2012, back to January 2013. Then I thought the June 2012 tripped was added in addition to the January 2013, but I found out DH didn't plan on going in January 2013 after going in June 2012. I kept saying that we were still going in January 2013, but the DH said I was smoking some good stuff. Now, thanks to money we didn't know we would get, the January 2013 trip is back on. That doesn't even include all of the different resort changes that have happened.

Count me in! DH said yes to our 1st marathon and what better place to do it than Disney? Will be DH, me, DS and DD and we're surprising our kids by bringing along my mom, sis and her kids. Have 2 studios booked at SSR but I'm wait listed for a 2BR at AKV Jambo. Going from 1/11-1/15!

Our plans have changed a bit. DH was notified of some training he has to do in Jan. We bumped our trip up a few days so that we would still be able to get a small leave packet approved. Being that they are off for the holidays and everything, we weren't sure if they would let him take off 10 extra days with a month long training trip just around the corner. So we are booked from 1/2 through 1/7 at AoA Lion King (hopefully can switch to a Nemo suite). We have changed our dates 3 times already. If we aren't approved for this leave we will push it to March. I'm trying to think positive though. But, if we do push back, just means we have more time to save more money and stay even longer. I figure either way, its a WIN!

No military room only discount yet as Im trying to hold out for a FD offer but hey, I will take what I can get with a smile! Also hoping with fingers and toes crossed that they extend the military promotion is some way to get discounted tickets.

I wish we were able to stay longer but that just leaves room for future trips!! Im just excited to be able to take my kids there. It was a goal/dream when my first was born to one day be able to give that to them. With all my kids have been through the past 6 years with deployments and hubby's injuries, they totally deserve this in every way.

Well if you have to move it back, at least it won't be moved back that far. Do the kids know about the trip yet?
I agree your entire family deserves to have a very magical WDW trip.

I'm glad you still can go ... or will still be able to go in March as a fall-back.

I'll just be glad when Disney announces what they are going to do to EMH...a part of me is dreading their reply, with all the recent cutbacks and other decreasing perks. And then the other part of me is hoping they are going to offer something really neat!
