Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. we actually decided to run Disney Vacation Club points and will be staying at old Key West and Animal Kingdom Lodge. I am super excited as tomorrow will be 30 days to our vacation. I will also try to snag desert wish reservations. Also I am wrapping up my Christmas preparation . I can't believe we just left Disney World we're going right back it truly feels like a dream. For those of you with some extra time I have started my trip report. You can check in early online if staying at a Disney hotel. With the old Disney site you could check in up to 10 days before your arrival, with the new Disney site, the time has been extended.

Hello! In our case, we are arriving close to midnight, so it will be good to just go (almost) straight to our room! Fact is there is a different counter and CM for people who did online check in, where all your docs should be ready, you just have to show up with your id and get your ktw!

I don't see any days where MK opens at 7am. Are you thinking a 7am opening with EMH? If so, they don't always do the welcome show on morning EMH days, and if they do it's an abbreviated version.

Ah man! Now I have to rethink our plans even more! Yes I was thinking about an EMH morning for that 7am opening. I only had two days planned at MK, and that EMH one has our first haircut appointment, which I'm sure won't be easy to change so close to the actual date. What to do, what to do?!

I'm going to be at Caribbean Beach Resort Jan. 2-7 and sooo can't wait!! 11 days til we start on our journey down! Will be my third or fourth trip but haven't been to the World since 2005 so I can't wait to get back.

We're arriving January 1 for five days at the Wilderness Lodge. Very excited!

I have a question about online check-in. We are a family of four going with another family of four. We have each reserved one Wilderness Lodge Villa. We'd like to get villas as close as possible to each other. Will our chances of doing that be better checking in online, or waiting until we arrive and talking to the agent at the desk?
