I just signed up for the waitlist! This will by my first 10-miler if I get in. I'm considering it a training race for the Tinkerbell half in January and the Princess Half in February.

Has anyone bought the park tickets through run disney.do you recall the prices and are there different day options?

2-day base ticket: $116
3-day base ticket: $157.62
4-day base ticket: $192.77

It goes up to 7 days. I was able to purchase a 1-day ticket for $58 by calling runDisney; however, that option wasn't available online.

I ran ten miles today. The time was a 2:05. I did a 4:1 ratio of run:walk. At the end of the run, I didn't want to feel like I've been hit by a truck. I must say I feel pretty good. I wanted to control the run, not the run controls me.

Thanks. I'm training for a half-marathon in June. My running has turned into enjoying the experience, not killing myself with a PR.

I am planning on signing up for the 5K (first race). Would I still be able to purchase the discounted tickets or is it just work the 10 Mile?

So, I'm doing this solo and can't wait! One question though- I believe there are some characters along the way. Do those have photopass people or handlers with them? I won't be running with anyone to take pictures for me, so I'm hoping they have CMs to help. Is this true at the after party as well? Thanks!!

I ran the Princess Half solo back in February and every character had at least 1 handler with them, some of the more popular ones had 2. Many of the characters also had a Brightroom photographer with them - they are the official race photographers - no Photopass at the races. The character handlers were great about taking pics

Also most other runners are very helpful too, especially at the mile markers, it usually turns into a "I'll take a pic for you if you take a pic for me" kind of deal

Just did a hilly 10 mile run yesterday with a bit of rough terrain too, and finished in 1:27! Getting really pumped to see what I'll be able to do once September rolls around!!

So......is it September yet?

I'm a little late to the party, but I'm in! This will be my first race longer than a 5K (and I still walk/run those ), but I am only looking to finish. Will be running solo as my friend that is coming with me draws the line at 3.1 miles

I am running solo too, and I didn't think about photos.

If they are not photo passes do you guys carry your camera with you while you run?

Does anyone know when the map of the course be published, I am a bit concerned about the terrain?

Other than that my training is going great.

I do bring a small camera with me. I have shorts from Race Ready with mesh pockets in the back, and the camera fits perfectly in one of them. However, I never stop to take pictures of myself with the characters because I'm afraid if I get in that line, I'll end up getting swept!

In a way, I will be solo too. Hubby is going to do the race, but he is so much faster than I am, so we are never together.

Right now that is too fast for me. I've never run 10 miles, but I know I'm not that fast!

I'm expecting to be more in the 12:00-12:30 pace.

I'm around that pace and would be interested in running together. But I have to warn you that I stop for A LOT of photos.

I might be keeping up with that, it's kinda what I'm aiming for. I just did a hilly 10 mile run on Sunday at an 8:39 pace so I figure I'll be right in that range you're aiming for. And I'm another soloist.

We are...was just too perfect for us not to go! It will be our first as well and I'm SO excited! Which one are you attending? We're going to the one on the 30th.
