Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

Planning on going to Animal Kingdom, then Sanaa for 11:30 lunch, then back to AK. How do I do this? Park at AK? Is there a bus to Sanaa? Or park at Sanaa and take bus? Newbie here needs clear step-by-step instructions, thanks!

There 'may' be buses running that will get you there...but it won't be quick. There are buses that are basically heading to DTD late at night, from BW, that will stop at other resorts in order to get guests back to their resort from BW. But those buses may make many stops along the way. AoA is less than an 8 min cab ride from BW...cost is around $10...I would just take a cab.
.

Thanks!!

Sanaa is in the Kidani Village section of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Just take the bus from AK to AKL & get off at Kidani Village (usually the 1st stop), & follow the walkway up the hill from the bus stop to the lobby. It's only a 5 minute ride, but you may have to wait up to 20 minutes for a bus. The AKL bus comes into load zone 10 at AK.

Same thing after lunch; just take the bus from Kidani back to AK.

Thinking about using a taxi after wishes our last night because we have an early flight.

Can we catch a cab by the buses at MK like the other parks or do we need to go to the TTC or walk to the CR? Thanks in advance!

Only Disney buses are allowed into that particular area. So..you have to either walk to the CR or get to the TTC. The CR would probably be your best bet..the walk is under 10 mins.

We plan on going to morning EMHs at AK and MK. At AK we just want to be in line before the rope drop, don't really matter if were in the front. At MK wed want to see the opening show. What time do you psuggest we arrive at AoA's bus stop on those mornings??

If you want to be there prior to rope drop, figure on getting to the bus stop about an hour before park opening.

How late do buses go to AK from AKL? We're planning on going to an early dinner at Boma on a night when AKL is open till 8. We'll be heading from AKL to AK at about 6. Will buses be going that direction at that time?

The buses will run to the park until it closes.

If MK opens at 7, will I be able to get there early enough on the bus from All Star Sports? I read buses start at 6:30am.

The buses start at 6:30 on normal park opening days. If the park is open, to the general public, at 7, then buses should start before 6:30. If it's just an EMH morning, then the buses will probably start at 6:30. I would ask a bus driver once you get there.

We will be at the MK and need to get to DTD for a 4:30 ADR (Rainforest Cafe). What is the best way to get there and what time do we need to leave the MK?
Thanks!

Take the monorail to the transportation ticket center were you can board a bus to DTD.

No. Do not do this. There is not a bus from the TTC to DTD.

Walk to the Contemporary and take the bus to DTD.

Wow, yeah.

1) Very few Disney buses even run through the TTC at all any more.

2) With few (if any) exceptions, buses to and from DTD are via Resorts.

I have an 8am ADR at epcot and I don't know if we will do the bus or a taxi. I am guessing we take a bus from the contemporary around 6:45? Are there normally taxi's at the resorts or do we have to call one? Also we have a 4 year old so I guess the taxi would need a car seat too? Do taxis at WDW have these usually?

To the best of my knowledge, there won't be a bus from CR to Epcot...the monorail is your only option. That starts at 7am. You will be very tight getting to an 8am ADR at Epcot using the monorail. I'm going to assume it's at Akershus. If this is the case, I would get a cab to BC and then walk over to Akershus from there. It would be a shorter walk than from the front of the park.
