On check-in day we are planning on looking around POFQ (our hotel), then we want to see The Grand Floridian's gingerbread house, and the chocolate Santa display at the Swan (I think?) We also have ADR for Bluezoo. Then after dinner we would like to go to the campsites at FW to see them all decorated for Christmas. We have never resort explored before and we won't have a car this year. How do we take the buses from resort to resort without running back to DTD to catch the right bus?

Take the bus from POFQ to MK then take either the boat or the monorail to GF.

Take the boat or the monorail back to MK, then take the bus to Swan/Dolphin.

Take the bus to MK, then take the boat to FtW.

I have to say though, I think that's a lot of traveling back and forth in one day. I think I'd save the GF for a day when you're at the MK anyway.

I didn't read everything so I don't know if these have already been asked. Im really confused on the transportation parts. I will number mine to make it easier, also we are staying at All star movies, and its myself and my 3 little ones, 9, 7, 5.

1. From All star Movies for a 8 AM reservation at O'hanas

2. From All Star Movies to a 10:55 AM reservation at Chef Mickey's

3. MAgic KIngdom to a 6:50 PM reservation at 1900 Park Fare

4. 1900 park fare to All star Movies.

Also what time should I be at the bus stops for the following:

1. 8 AM reservation at O'hanas

2. 10:55 AM reservation at Chef Mickey's

3. 8:15 AM Reservation at Tusker house (Animal Kingdom)

4. 8:15 AM Reservation at Crystal Palace

1900 park fare to All star movies: if MK is open, just transfer there. If not transfer at any open park or DTD.

MK to 1900 Park fare for a 6:50 Pm Reservation: Ferry to GF about 6:00.

Bus to MK, walk across the the street to the CR. Or if it is hot & you don't want to sweat up your fresh clothes before dinner, take a cab. Cab fare is likely less than the difference I price to stay at the Poly!

1)What time will the monorail start running if Mk opens at 9 and EP opens at 8 for morning EMH?

2)Will their be a boat launch running from MK to WL around 730/8am?

3)Would it be better to get off the monorail at CR and take a launch from there to WL?

1) walk across the street to the MK bus depot & catch the AoA bus.
2) direct bus from DHS to AoA
3) Contemporary resort bus stop, direct bus to DTD.
4) Walk across to MK bus depot, catch Boardwalk bus, depending on how busy it is, sometimes the Epcot area resorts share buses.
5) Walk or boat.
6) The above mentioned boat goes between DHS & Epcot WS entrance, hitting the Epcot area resorts on the way. At the CR boat dock, you can catch a boat the circles CR-WL-FtW, making it nice & easy to get to Artist Point or Hoop Dee Doo for dinner. The DTD area resorts have boats to DTD (SSR, OKW, POR/FQ)
7) I can't imagine the resort loop monorail would be too impacted by NoJ, but I have no experience there. The resort loop would go, CR-TTC-Poly-GF-MK back to CR. I suppose if it is a nice night you could walk over to the MK & get the boat to the GF. I forgot to mention that one above, there is a boat at MK that goes to GF & Poly.

How do I get from Grand Floridian to WL?

Go to MK, monorail or boat, transfer to boat or bus for WL. Bus is usually a bit faster, boat much nicer ride. . Or cab, it is very close.

Just checking with the experts, because I never stay on this side of the resort...

My friends are staying at Beach Club and I am going to book either a value or moderate hotel, since I can't afford BC. Is there any hotel that comes to mind that is either on the same waterway route or has easy transport to BC? ...or should I just focus on meeting them at the parks?

The Resort Monorail starts around 7 a.m. Boats from MK to WL start 30 minutes before MK opening, BUT boats from CR to WL start around 6:45 a.m.

So yes, for breakfast at WL, take Resort Monorail to CR, and get the boat from there to WL. By the time the first monorail arrives at CR from Poly, the boats should be up & running.
