But Rogue couldn't fly and didn't get her super strength until her powers grew iirc. Right now, since Peter just got his powers, he can't control how long he has them for.

If the link I posted was correct and Syler and Peter do have the same ability, then it looks like he will be able to hold on to the powers he absorbs when his ability strengthens and is controlled

I was a bit dissapointed in the show, but I think it was because of all the "over hype" they did on it. I expected more in the fight between Peter and Sylar.

One thing that struck me though is that they did "save a cheerleader" even though they lost the other one and in a way "save the world" cause Sylar is now in HRG hands. Though who know if he will stay there or get away!

I know that Mr Bennet (HRG) was mainly trying to protect Claire and keep her from the police, though I am not sure who called them yet, cause over the game, who could hear her scream? And I am pretty sure that Peter's name wasn't mentioned by Eden during the phone call about the guy who thought he could fly. So HRG may not pay any attention to it unless Claire says he is like me.

Still wondering if Peter will get out of Jail, if HRG takes him or if Hiro helps. I guess we all will see

And how many others like seeing Claire punch Jackie and gald to see her becoming a bit less popular?

What I want to know if Peter could use Sylar's muliple abilities if they are near each other. If Sylar can only use one ability at a time could Peter only use the ability that Sylar had chosen or could Peter choose a different one of Sylar's abilities?

OOOHHH, good idea!! That is a really good question. Why didn't Peter use anything on Sylar? He must not have to "know" the power to use them, ie healing himself. He didn't know that was Claries power before he fixed himself.

Of course this calls into question Issac and his fortune telling....he was unable to paint perhaps because he could not predict the future.

Issac's painting was accurate. It showed Peter lying on the ground looking like he was dead. Peter would have been dead but for the power to regenerate. Issac's picture was accurate as with respect to that scene. Peter would have been dead if he had copied Claire's ability.

I think the person has to be within area..My guess would be the closer they are the better, faster he absorbs.
He does not keep them.

Hiro...well I don't know...has ME stumped. Maybe he could not come back as someone said.

I think that Issac can't paint a picture on command but still paints what he sees. And I wonder if that is Ted, the radioactive guy he painted looking like Jonny Flame or was it a new character? And it did seem to me that he was on heroin again. So I was wrong there.

Hiro's blog was empty last week. I think cause he didn't even start it. It is there now though with only the one post. I think going back 6 months, he didn't have his powers yet. It will be fun to see next week what is happening and if he can get back or has to stay until closer.

wonder who is on the list? I did see some deceased. It hasnt been updated in a bit either. And we did see in the previes that Chandra is making phone calls and it looked like he was talking to claire's dad. Hmmm..

Also next week seems to be a Hiro & jessica/Niki week. wonder if we will see DL and what happened to him?

Hiro is so adorable! He may have to be located by Mohinder's (pant, pant sigh, ) list like a previous post suggested.

I think Peter could use some time with the haitian and claire's dad so they can knock him out, work on him and increase his powers. He may come back bruised up and confused though. But seriously,I believe he is going to be one of, if not the most awesome hero as he gains mastery over the power to absorb other heroes powers. With his powers of empathy, he may also be able to locate them.

I am totally psyched to get some answers about Sylar.

Mohinder is a specimen of earth-shattering proportions. No one should be that beautiful.

So, how did saving the cheerleader actually save the world?

Here is my theory. If Sylar had killed Claire and taken her power of regeneration, wouldn't that mean that he (Sylar) would be almost indestructible? So by saving Claire, he doesn't get the power of regeneration, thus making him somewhat vulnerable. Just my uneducated opinion.

Yes, I am thinking that too. Sylar is killing the other supers to get their powers.

Since the show started I was wondering how Matt would hook up with the others. Now that Peter is under arrest for a sylar style murder, Matt and the FBI chick will be called in. Peter will be able to read Matt and Vice Versa.

Of course Claire can exhonerate(sp?) Peter, but I don't know if Daddy will hold her back from doing so. Of course he may step in himself and wisk Peter away.

Radioactive guy....is it possible that the mushroom cloud over the city is not from a bomb, but from him, possibly cornered by police pent up frustration and rage and BOOOOOM!

Peter can only hold the powers for a short time after his encounters.

I don't think Sylar is stealing powers. We don't know why he is killing others.

Saving Claire last night set up "saving the world" in an upcoming episode. Although Peter didn't really do anything - they both fell off the building. Whoopie.

If Sylar is so good at targeting heroes, why didn't he know that the cheerleader he killed wasn't the right one?

I just saw the trailer for the new Rocky movie, "Rocky Balboa". The actor that plays Peter Petrelli is in this movie. He plays Rocky Jr. Pretty cool. And it looks like he manages to keep his hair out of his eyes for this movie.
