Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

Wouldn't the act of Future Hiro traveling back in time automatically change Present Peter's future??? Maybe Future Hiro's, Future Peter had not met up with Claire and had not absorbed her power. Then Future Peter wouldn't have the ability to heal himself and would then have the scar. But now that Future Hiro has traveled back in time, he has changed Future Peter's past by meeting Claire and absorbing her power. So, Future Peter would no longer have the scar. Confused yet??? I am.

In theory this seems right, but I still don't think the writers would have metioned this scar if it was not going to have some later signifcance in the story

I happen to agree with you. I am just throwing out possible theories. I don't really get too concerned with any possible inconsistencies in the show. I figure someone will point them out to the show creator's and they can just make something up to fill in the holes. This show is all a fantasy anyway.

I believe Simone character is or will be daed/ as in off the show as a regular guest star. But I do wonder what her father's rooftop means when they hand Claire over to Bennet. It is done up very nicely at that time. What did Deveroux have to do with that group?

Have you guys talked about Simone's Dad? He owned the building where Isaac paints, where the heroes keep ending up, right? Peter took care of him

And now that (maybe) Simone has powers, could her father (who died) be part of the story more than we thought? just wonderin'

(sorry if you guys already discussed it and I missed something!)

We may be onto something about Claude protecting either Simone or her father maybe? He hangs out at their building tending to his birds an awful lot.

Here is a thought....

Maybe, just maybe, Simone is not who she is cracked up to be?

Think about it. She was the one "distributing" Issac's paintings, right?

Perhaps she was playing "dumb" the whole time.

If I remember correctly, in one of the first episodes before Simone's dad died, her dad told Peter he had a dream about him (Peter) and they were flying. Does anyone else remember this and any other details? It seems like he said Peter would do something (save the world? lol) anyone else remember?

Some speculation here...I think that Simone is a "Hero". I think that Charles Deveaux(Simone's dad) had a power. I think that the dream he had of Peter flying was a vision. I think that was Mr. Deveaux' power which has now been absorbed by Peter. Peter has had a number of dreamlike visions since he became Mr. Deveaux' nurse, including the one of him blowing up New York.

Now, since we know that Heroes run in a family, it is possible that Simone has a power if her father did too. I don't think she has the ability to heal herself. Perhaps she is bulletproof. Or maybe she can absorb metal. I hope Monday's episode reveals an answer.

The executive producers of Heroes are saying in the press this week that they want us fans to be prepared for the fact that each season of the show will be a separate story, perhaps with different sets of "heroes".

:scratchin hmmm...very interesting concept...

I don't know about any of your heroes fans out there, but I am getting more antsy as Monday approaches. Please tell me that I am not the only one who plan ahead for a 60-minute show. Things like bathroom runs should be done before or only on commercial breaks :rotfl2: Since I don't have any speculation on how the story is going right now, I do hope to see more of Hiro's quest which lead him into the future and back. He's so HOT with the samarai sword. Don't you think?

LOL!

I force myself to DVR it for at least 20 minutes so I can skip the commercials.

Okay, now I am really bummed. I heard on Howard Stern this morning that Heroes is going on hiatus and that tonight's episode will be the last new episode until April. Does anybody know if this is true???

From Comic book resources:

HEROES

Speaking of the hit network series, creator Tim Kring is quoted at Sci Fi Wire as saying this season will close Volume One of the story, with new characters and storylines for next season, noted as Volume Two. "Volume One comes to a conclusion at the end of episode 23, and Volume Two starts with the opening of season two. And Volume Two is a different story. We could have new people and new storylines and new ideas and new threats and new bad guys and new heroes. So I would prepare the audience for that idea, that it's not just a continuing serialized storyline about only these people. It's a little more the '24' model than the 'Lost' model."

From Comic con at CBR: The big question on everyone's mind was uttered as Craig asked everyone what was coming up in their projects.

Loeb started by saying tomorrow night’s episode (Monday, March 4) of "Heroes" will end the current story arc as well as reveal and introduce the character of Mr. Linderman. After that episode, there will be a 5 week break of re-runs until the show returns with the final 5 episodes of the season. Every question left unanswered since the first episode will be resolved by the season finale. Except there will be new questions to be answered in the form of a season cliffhanger to insure viewers return for the next season.

I debriefed DD about her visit with Hayden and she had a fantastic time....she said the set of Heroes was awesome....she got to see Suresh's apartment and some other areas, saw Ando in the studio (but did not get to meet him), helped Hayden pick out an outfit from wardrobe for an upcoming episode (saw all the Heroes' outfits that were already picked out for an episode...too cool!!), went to a recording session for Hayden's upcoming CD, and even got to go to an event in LA and meet some other celebs.

We are avid watchers of Nip/Tuck so she was thrilled to meet "Christian Troy", actor Julian McMahon. She also met the start of the new movie "300"
actor Gerard Butler and a few others.

All in all it was a good trip!!!:thumbsup2

OK so I guess Simone is not a Hero.... bummer

I don't like that new girl, she has quite the attitude. This is an Awsome episode!!

Guess we know now where Peter gets his scar .... and how about Claire. Great episode.

Booyooh!!! Now thats what I'm talkin' bout!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic episode. I literally clapped at the final scene of Peter losing his bangs. I think there were 4 ***?!? moments for me.

I don't know how I am going to manage for the next month and a half.

I am so going to boycott NBC until Heroes comes back on! WTH?!?! April 23???

I think Peter lost a little more than his bangs in that last shot.
