Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

Thanks for sharing that. I let him watch it last week with me, and he really got upset at headache ladies murder. it freaked him out. He is a very sensitive boy, and has anxiety issues. It really surprised me when he asked if he could watch it this week! LOL. I watched it first, and since Sylar was not in this episode, I let him watch it. I did tell him before he started watching it that no one dies. So, he sat watching it, chewing his blanket the whole time, and then, at the end, when Bennet was telling the haitian where to aim, he started crying and yelling at me that I said no one was going to die. Oh boy. He thought when he said "right here, 2 inches higher and I am dead" that he was telling him to aim two inches higher.

I guess it will be a week to week decision. I know he is sensitive, and he let's everything bother him, but if he insists on wanting to watch it, maybe it will help him realize TV is not real, and he won't get so upset over characters fates.

You will have to make that decision as his parent. Perhaps you can tape the episode and preveiw it. If you think he can handle it let him watch...also by having it on tape, you can FF parts that you don't want him to see.:thumbsup2

Isn't it funny how different some kids are. While mine are sensitive to a point, they understand that TV is fake and that no one is actually killed. It helps that they've seen other stories where the people in Heroes played other characters, too, ala Claire. Good luck with your decision!

From here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9817no spoilers, just questions to the writers.

“What powers did Pete pick up from Simone's Dad? He seems to be more a part of this than most folks think. His daughter works with Linderman, and Claude hangs out on his deck, and why cast a heroic figure like Richard Roundtree for a couple of death bed scenes if he isn't a character with a heroic past? I figure he and Claude and HRG go back to another generation of heroes. When will we become aware of Simone's powers?” Now, if Simone has powers, that would be interesting especially after her death scene. Guys?

That’s very observant. Connecting a lot of the dots. There are some more dots to help either confuse you or keep the mystery going. But, there will be answers before the season is over.

“Future Hiro said Peter looked different without his scar, but Peter has Claire's ability now so how does he get a scar?”

Well, then – that’s a darned good question. If Peter could heal, how could he get a scar? Is it something more powerful than Claire’s ability? Or is it something to do with Peter’s ability?

Hee hee, got more links, and you can send the writers questions on that site. At least they make you think!

DD is out in LA this week visiting with Hayden (Claire). She called me yesterday to say Hayden took her to the set of Heroes and to one of her recording sessions for her new CD....Said Heroes set was pretty cool and last Mondays episode cost over $4 million to produce!!!

WOW that is amazing. I had told DH I wondered how much it cost to make that! Just in Hayden's scenes alone!!

How great is that!!! Did your DD get to meet any of the other Heroes?? She sounds like she is having a great time in LA.

I don't get too caught up in the inconsistencies or discrepancies. When I watch tv or movies (especially one about people with super powers) we must be able to suspend disbelief!

No, she didn't mention meeting any other Heroes....she comes home tomorrow...hope she took a lot of pics....and yes...she is having a great time!

I just want to say that I think it's great that your DD and Hayden are keeping up their friendship long distance. Glad she had a good time. Maybe in the future Hayden can work something out to let her be an extra in an episode!

Did Future Hiro meet Peter Prior to Peter meeting Claire? If so then there is your answer. Peter wouldn't of healed if he didn't have Claire's ability Yet :confused3

No, thats not right. Future Hiro was commenting on a facial trait of Future Peter, who by then would have met Claire. I also think the writers won't be able to just drop the scar thing. It was a big deal when Hiro said it.

On one of those entertainment shows, (sorry I forgot which one), the said that Milo, the actor that plays Peter, will be showing up soon with a scar AND bald. FWIW.

Since Peter is not yet fully in control of his powers, I can see how he might end up with a scar if he can't quite control his healing, or maybe gets interrupted. I guess we will just have to wait and see! But as much as his hair annoys me, I don't think I want to see him bald.

Wouldn't the act of Future Hiro traveling back in time automatically change Present Peter's future??? Maybe Future Hiro's, Future Peter had not met up with Claire and had not absorbed her power. Then Future Peter wouldn't have the ability to heal himself and would then have the scar. But now that Future Hiro has traveled back in time, he has changed Future Peter's past by meeting Claire and absorbing her power. So, Future Peter would no longer have the scar. Confused yet??? I am.

Im gonna have to agree on this one. This seems the most plausible to me at this point.
