I have never posted to this thread before! It's great to see so many Hero fans!! I'm definately one of them!

As for tonights episode....
I think Eden pointed the gun to her head and sacrificed herself so that Sylar couln't gain her power.

I think that Claire's dad is really her bio father and he has the power to block other peoples powers, like a shield. That's why Eden's powers wouldn't work on him & the cop couldn't read his mind. Her mom isn't her bio mom however, someone else is that we'll hear about in a future episode. Claire's dad just arranged the adoption and even his wife doesn't know that Claire is really his. I don't blame Claire's dad for doing what he did to her friend and brother, he's just trying to protect his little girl.

The Haitian speaks! Ok, he has his own agenda I see. I hope he lets Claire remember everything or at least that she has powers. I was when he said he visited Claire's mom "many times!" No wonder she seems so loopy.

that's what i was thinking. he didn't have time to "Absorb" her power. brave girl, she is. because if you look at him, he looks surprised that she did it.

ok.......so Issac is just hott. i have to say that before i even go on any further lol. loved that Hiro showed him how to "control" his power. was good to see!

oh no Peter!! he's my other love of the show! i agree with what someone else said, maybe too many power around him at once.

but was that really the "future" he was seeing? was there someone else around him, that was another "hero" and he absorbed that?

because if it was the "future", how odd was it that there was NO one there except for pretty much EVERYONE who had a power(and it makes you wonder about Hiro's friend.....sorry can't remember his name.......and Peter's girl......can't remember her name either. i wonder if MAYBE they do have powers, we just don't know about it yet?)

poor Claire. i really liked that friend of hers. he was really good to her. wouldn't she have put two and two together and figured out "hey, i told dad about my brother and my friend, maybe HE did this?" because that would have been my first reaction. and am i the ONLY one who thinks that her and Peter should really get together?? they would be really cute(hey.....she is 18 now, so no flames. they'd be ok lol).

I still think the dad is the power blocker and the Haitian dude is a mind swiper. It'll be the big shocking twist when they reveal that he's really Claire's bio dad and he has powers too. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

You're right! We watched it again and the look on Sylar's face as she turned the gun towards herself said it all, she definitely killed herself. Bummer I was just starting to like her.

i really don't know what to think of the radioactive guy, anyway. how did they explain his powers? did they come out of nowhere, like everyone else's?? or did he get the radioactiveness(is that even a word?) from something happening to him? because if that's the case, he really doesn't have a true "power" like the rest of them.

wow....i'm reading way into this lol.


ps, i missed like the first 10 minutes of the show, can anyone catch me up to what happened? i caught it right when Nikki(Jessica) shot her husband.

Well, if everyone would like, I'll change the title of the thread and add a notice about potential spoilers and speculation. Putting spoilers into white type makes the most sense to me.

Hadn't thought about Claire's dad having powers. Since everyone seems to have only one power (not counting Sylar and his stealing powers), it makes sense that the Haitian wouldn't be able to block powers AND erase memories. It's possible that either power could cause the static Matt experienced.

Whoa, Peter!! Hopefully that is a sign of something they will be able to change. I do like the theory that it's from a power duplication overload and the sudden inability to cope. Being around two others is one thing; being around seven others is another.

Another theory. I wonder if Peter can only duplicate the original power of the hero. That would explain why he couldn't use Sylar's telekinesis; since Sylar stole it from another, it's not originally his, so Peter couldn't copy it.

Did anyone else notice that Peter looked very sick? My DH theory is that Sylar got to radioactive man and ate his brain, and when he and Peter had a struggle, Peter got the radioactive power from Sylar and it's making him sick, and that is what would eventually make him explode. Who knows, just my DH theory!

i was wondering that too. he looked terrible(well.....as terrible as he could look! hehe!) and was coughing all the time. you'd think Claire, since she's got that healing thing, might have said "wow, you look like crap, lemme help." and i wonder why her dad kept trying to hurry her?

aww i hope not, i love Peter! or at least let them fix it. but that's a good theory. maybe Sylar transfered the radioactive power to Peter because he didn't want it??

LOVED this episode, but I had NO IDEA that it was the last one till January! What am I going to do?

Did any of you see Ellen today? Four of the cast members (cheerleader, double personality chick, Hiro, and the sexy Indian guy) were on there. It was cool. If you missed it, maybe they will repeat it. Yes, I know it's awful that I don't know people's names . . . I have to say that Hiro is my fav!!!! (Which is why I remember his name)

OH! About the spoilers, I do NOT want to see any. So if you do add them in the thread, PLEASE make it obvious. I'd rather be surprised by what happens on this show!

First a comment on Save the Cheerleader... I finally get it, if Sylar got Claire's power he would be unstoppable.

I do not know what to think about Claire's Dad having the mind blocking power, I mean mind blocking and erasing could be the same power, something to do with the brain...but then how do you explain Sylar not beeing able to use his powers with HRG(Claire's Dad), but then attacked Eden through the glass???

I want to know why Peter was sick!!!

I have to say I am pleased with who they killed off. I liked her but with that kind of power she would have always been a target or on the verge of being evil. Since she probably wasn't written in as a main character they probably were going to get rid of her at some point anyway.

Good for Nikki, but as soon as Jessica takes over again she is just going to escape, should be interesting.

Ugh I can't believe we have to wait so long!! I did hear that they will continue the comic series even though the show is on hiatus.
