I had a Dole Whip for the first time this past August, after reading so much about them and Bawb's love for them on these boards. I hate to admit this, but I really didn't like it! Maybe it was just too hot that day and maybe the fact that I have GERD played a factor too, but it just wasn't my thing. However, I'm really glad I tried one. Didn't real know anything about Bawb, other than what I've read on the boards, but I did try it in his honor.

Don't feel bad! There are a lot of folks that don't particularly care for them. Me included. I don't dislike them so much that I can't have one for Bawb though. Mine became a welcome treat on that hot, hot HOT day back in Sept. If it weren't for Bawb, I wouldn't waste the money. He's worth it though!

Here's my DW for Bawb pic from two weeks ago. It was taken right outside Aloha Isle and I got a bit teary-eyed.

Dole Whips are scarce in my hometown so I had a pineapple/yogurt smoothie in memory of Bawb instead. The closest thing in Tokyo Disney was a frozen mango, which was kind of like a fruit popsicle. I bet Bawb would have liked it!

I just heard the show. If the Friday she is talking about was Halloween, that was DH and I.

Not being a fan of pineapple, i slightly cheated and got a Coke float from Aloha Isle when we were there - when i was about to pay for it, the server spotted my Just Married button, and told me it was "on Mickey Mouse"

Sooooo, I got the wrong "Dole Whip" last week (Nov. 9).... Not to worry, will be back in January for the half marathon and will be sure to bring my fridge pack for all of the left over float containers....perhaps I'll send them into the show

Ya know, I had thought about that when reviewing the pics....As y'all with little kids can relate, it was chaos to even get this shot by myself (another reason for not getting the right DW....) I'll take a look and see if there are pics with me and the double jogging stroller from this trip (one of like 8 strollers we have....gosh, I really AM Stroller Boy!!!! lol)

So it only took me three days to figure out what you were talking about, Missy! OOoohh boy, good thing the wife doesn't check this particular board.... The funny thing is that she was the one who got the Dole Whip for me, and I laughed and said I told her to get the wrong one but I was going to blame her on the boards! Totally my fault, not hers.
