**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Here's how it works. You line up for check in. Give your nane at the podium and get your credentials then a singalong time. Refreshments are at carts. Either dh or myself became the designated runner while the others held spots for the parade. I think it would be hard to save spots for several people.

There is a kiddie viewing area and they must sit. Or you can go elsewhere in the viewing area. It's up to you. Usually first in pick rope spots. Very few people sit during the parade.

Ok that makes sense...if there are snacks we may be ok for an hour or so. We will plenty of travel games/coloring sheets. The snacks will help for sure. Thanks!! It's so hard to plan a strategy b/c there are so many diff experiences from people.

I just snagged a sing along pass for 12:10 on Sunday. We arrive in Orlando on Saturday, we are staying at the Hyatt MCO, and take the Disney Express to Animal Kingdom Kidani Sunday morning, and then using the AKL transportation to Hollywood Studios, how long will all of this travel take?

What time should we leave the Hyatt to get to AKL and Hollywood Studios by 12:00?

Can we go from they airport directly to Hollywood Studios to save time and have our bags go to the hotel without us?

No, the Sing A Long fast passes are for the end of September. I am just curious if you can take the Disney Express directly to the parks or if you have to go with your luggage to the hotel first?

Question about Oaken's-- I'm here at WDW right now, and we went to Oaken's and saw all the amazing Elsa dresses. I'm attempting to MAKE an Elsa dress for my niece for Halloween, however I'm kind f hoping it doesn't crash and burn. The dresses they have in Oaken's-- they are NOT the same as the dresses you'd buy at the Disney store-- is that a correct assumption? Because usually the parks costumes are a little nicer. If it is just the Disney store costume I'll skip going back to HS for it, but of it ISNT then id like to have it as a backup.

Disney Express (ME/DME) will not take you to a park. They will only take you to the resort where you are registered. That's why you need to plan on leaving Hyatt by 9:30 because you won't know how long you'll need to wait for DME, how the I4 is running traffic-wise, check-in, and then the bus from Kidani to DHS. If you arrive early at AKL, explore the resort and the savannas.

Yep. And FWIW, Slatt, DME times can be unpredictable. Last time we took it, we waited an hour to get on the bus. Then it was about an hour to get to the resort (and we were the first stop). The time before that, we walked onto a bus and the drive took much less time. You just never know.

There was a poster recently, can't think of the name, who followed what I did on our 2nd package and took their snacks to the backlot express to sit at a table in the airconditioning instead of staying in the viewing area. They didn't check in til 10:30am. Then took snacks and left. Missing the welcome on the stage.

Do what works best for your family.

Hopefully someone can answer this for you. I have boys.

I didn't get to read every post but I was wondering how good the Frozen Fireworks were, compared to the fireworks at the MK, I'm not that into Frozen and was wondering if it was worth Hoping over to HS just for the fireworks?

The disney parks dress has been different from the disney store dress. Similar but different. I believe I've seen pics of both dresses posted on the DIS.

I love the fireworks. They are short though. And it's a mix of stage show and fireworks.

In my opinion, they rank 2nd. With Symphony in the Stars coming in 1st, and Hallowishes 3rd.

If you are not a Frozen fan they may not be for you. It's synchronized to Frozen music and includes Anna, Elsa and Kristoff on stage.

Not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly...but today I made a FP for sing-a-long on our arrival day of trip. I asked my travel agent if my family could go straight to DHS w/o checking in at our resort 1st (in order to save time). She said no. It can apparently cause issues with your magic bands.

Heading back in 2 weeks, so I am sure we will see some rain!'

Found this at Target for $9.99

My vacation starts in just three days, and I have been studying everything, so that I can enjoy some of the Frozen Offerings . At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch the Processional, but now I have decided that I would. Can anyone recommend a good place to stand, so that I can get photos of Anna and Elsa when they come by. I realize that the Processional is short, time wise.

I have studied the map in the first post, and I thank you for that. I am also hoping to get a ticket for an early showing of the singalong. Hopefully, I can find my way successfully to where they are handed out.

I am especially looking forward to seeing the Fireworks. I may, or may not try and do Fantasmic on the same night. I have plans to be there on Wednesday, August 20th.

One more question: in the extended time, on weekends, can you not Fastpass the sing along?? I can't seem to get it to show up and I don't want to cancel all my Fastpasses because I have midway mania for eight people! Help!! September 26th...

There a construction wall on Hollywood Blvd. Standing across from there should be good. A&E should be looking that direction.

If you position yourself on the curb near a store door, you can feel the air conditioning a little. Right at gate opening there is only 1 side of people. Also down by sounds dangerous and backlot express there are areas with just 1 side of people.

You can FP the sing along but the app has a glitch and the FP isn't showing. Try logging in to the website from the laptop or desktop computer. I was able to get passes for our party of 8 without much trouble at all. Easier than the meet and greet that's for sure.

You'll never guess where we are going today. But this time for another reason. We are going to say goodbye to AFI the store and showcase after the back lot tour. Of course we'll throw in some FSF.

If we see the 1235 sing a long, do you all think it is at all possible to see the 1 pm beauty and the beast show? I realize these are on complete opposite sides of the park. Would they let us in if we were a couple of minutes late?

They use to fill in the very back bleachers as the show was starting but I don't know if they still do. There is also a definite cut off time to letting people in.

The singalong is 20 minutes from when it starts. It doesn't always start on time. For example, last week we were in the 2:30 line and the people didn't start to come out until after 2 from three 1:30 show.
