**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

We booked the Premium Package for September, but I just learned on this thread that I can FP the Sing-a-long. I'm wondering if the Premium Package is still worth the cost? Suggestions?

Back in July we probably ate in snacks and desserts enough to justify one and a half adult tickets between the 3 of us. Now it's increased in price so that would justify less. However, we had a great time. So much so that we booked a 2nd one for mid-july.

The premium package is all about the "premium package viewing areas", snacks at the parade, and the dessert party with frozen themed treats and drinks. It really is just an extra novelty. I am doing it because I love special experiences to add to our trip. I know we will not eat $70 in desserts/snack/drinks..... or will we??? Lol. If it is not worth the money and you would prefer to use the money for something you believe adds more pixie dust to your trip.... cancel your premium package. Let your kids go on a shopping spree instead ;)

When does the FP for the sing along start? Did someone say they got one for this sat. The 17th?

Can I still get tickets or do I show up as stand by? Trying to see the 7 pm show this Sunday but arriving at 4 pm

Sorry if this is a silly question but if I book a FP for the sing along do I still need to get a ticket for this?

For August through Sept 1 the answer is yes.

For Sept 2 through 28, it looks like if you have a FP+ a ticket won't be needed. The Premiere theater has FP+ scanners. Or if it's shipped to the ABC theater, they have FP+ capability too.

Right. It's just fun and the novelty of it more than getting your money's worth.

When I checked out the app, only Sept 2 through 28 were available.

Thank you! Did you have a good vantage point for Parade and Fireworks without too much crowding?

I just snagged a sing along pass for 12:10 on Sunday. We arrive in Orlando on Saturday, we are staying at the Hyatt MCO, and take the Disney Express to Animal Kingdom Kidani Sunday morning, and then using the AKL transportation to Hollywood Studios, how long will all of this travel take? What time should we leave the Hyatt to get to AKL and Hollywood Studios by 12:00? Can we go from they airport directly to Hollywood Studios to save time and have our bags go to the hotel without us?

Sing along fast pass for this Sunday aug 17???

Ok thanks everyone. I have been following this but took a break.

They moved the spot you pick up tickets, correct?

Anyone have success getting tickets around 4 pm for the 7 show?

I'm not a fan of the viewing area or waiting in the heat for an hour for the parade. Check in starts at 10 and people lined up before that. My son can't control his body temp. The first time we did the package. I had to scoot him off to First Aid immediately after to get his temp back down. So we had to do things differently the 2nd time.

If you want a spot at the rope plan to be there before 10am. If that isn't important to you, then you can arrive any time. There are some fully shade spots, but most are partially shaded, some are full sun.

Each time it rained for our dessert so we ended up indoors in the air conditioning so that was perfect for us. Then they escorted everyone into the viewing area from over at Disney Jr.

Each time, either the stage or the fireworks were partially blocked by something. But I was still able to get some great pictures. They are posted in my TR.

Congratulations!

I'm kind of surprised they have it tier 2.

I thought for sure it was going to be a tier 1...checked that first and was ready to trade in our RNRC.

DH and I are just talking about it. We have 3 kids ages 3, 5 and 6. I think it will be worth it for them to avoid longer lines in the heat and the refreshments will be a hit. If the FP+ were offered for Aug we probably wouldn't but our package is 8/30.

I think that poster is referring to the Sunday of their trip, which isn't happening until September, not this upcoming Sunday. We have a trip planned in two weeks, the A&E schedule hasn't changed in MDE, and it's not showing up as a FP+ eligible attraction when I go into MDE for the time we're there.

I think the poster meant a date after Sept 2.

Yes! I love being able to FP and pick a time for the Sing Along :)

Same spot. Just less umbrellas. Not sure what will happen once FP+ starts on Sept 2. But FP+ is available the 2nd through 28th.

The last 2 shows have only been about 3/4th filled. Although come weekends in Sept that may change.

Thank you. I was so panicked I missed it or something!

Your information is invaluable to all of us. Thanks so much! You must live in Florida. How are you able to spend so much time in Disney? I'm living vicariously! :goodvibes

Rumor* has it she's a Disney social media plant.

*I just created that rumor right now.

But seriously...the local AP holders are an invaluable source of information, and I'm glad that so many of them, including lovethattink and yulilin, take so much of their time to verify and update information straight from the parks for the Dis'ers.
