lovethattink - Have fun today! I have thought of something you can ask a Package CM:

When the morning Sing Alongs begin in a couple of weeks, will Premium Package guests be able to check-in earlier and possibly choose the 9:20 show? Or, will they only be able to continue to choose from the afternoon shows?

Plan change again!! Wanted to guarantee seeing the "Sing-Along" this trip, so changed our departure day plans to go back to DHS on 9/2

Was so great seeing the FP Sing-Along pop up as Tier 2!!!

Got a 1:15-1:30 FP for 9/2 !!! Super-excited!!!

Going to do a Sci-Fi lunch before the show!!

I'll ask, but doubt they'll know for sure until the day of and they have printed cards in front of them.

That's great! But we'll just miss each other. I got the 11:30 singalong. We are going to check out how the FP+ works. That's out check out day. We are only staying until noon-ish before heading home.

If we stay for fireworks, I'm going to check out echo lake near 50's and H&V to see how it compares since I know we won't see the stage or screen.

Huge, huge, huge line for oakens. Haven't seen a line like this since opening day.

Finally decided to cancel our Frozen package...I just can't justify the $200 price tag for the 5 of us..esp now that I have a FP+ for the singalong on our last day. Question...I am wondering if staking out a parade viewing spot 45 min before is a good plan?! Esp since I want to be as close to stage as possible. Also, is grabbing a fireworks spot, by the stage, reasonable 30m out? TIA!

I haven't figured out fireworks yet.

But for the parade if you get a spot early on the parade route then follow right behind the blue rope immediately as the parade passes you. It will take you right up with but just behind the premium package viewers who move up to the stage..

We like that spot, but it's been too hot for us to go there. It's not really near first aid. Is on the other side of the "antique" store. Pictures in my TR.

I'm sure it's been asked but I need a good location for the fireworks with a view of the stage show. Is the purple areas in your map what you suggest? Also how early do we need to get there? These fireworks are the only reason we are returning to HS that night so I want a good location and we don't mind waiting for it! Thanks for all the advice!

Can anyone comment on the quality of these Olaf cups? Since we are not purchasing refillable mugs this trip I was hoping that my DD could reuse her Olaf cup for the week and we have some family requests to bring a few back if they are as cute as they look

Its just hard to tell from the pictures if they are super thin plastic for one use or thick like DCL cups and mugs

That's my absolute favorite spot for DHS fireworks. You could even get a table and chairs right by the rails on Echo lake and have an unobstructed view of them.
I was actually there last night but decided to watch from outside the park by the Mickey Topiary....wow!! Absolutely gorgeous view, you can def. take it all in from outside.
We had the show/fireworks on youtube and played it as soon as we heard it starting (you can faintly hear depending on wind direction) and it worked out perfectly

We grabbed a table near the beginning of the Rebels autograph line. Is that where you meant? It was perfect. Though the screen was hard to make out at times. Close ups were good. Only draw back was they didn't turn down the atmosphere music. And the firework music wasn't piped in. Is that usual?

Each time we've gone since you asked I've been looking at them. I haven't seen one to hold one or asked if I may. The straw looks flimsy. Like if she bites it is not going back into shape. But the plastic looks between soft and durable. It definately is stronger than an ice cup but not as strong as a resort mug. It's about a foot tall. Hope that helps a little.

The purple area shows where the jumbo screens are located. You want to be somewhere that you can see both. Keep in mind where you stand early might be great, but any available space gets filled.

Last night we watched by 50's ptc the screen was very small from so far away but we could still see it for the most part. The fireworks were great from there. You can see all of them. We got there around 8:30. For Min and Bills picnic table we got there around 8:15.
