I thought for sure it was going to be a tier 1...checked that first and was ready to trade in our RNRC.


DH and I are just talking about it. We have 3 kids ages 3, 5 and 6. I think it will be worth it for them to avoid longer lines in the heat and the refreshments will be a hit. If the FP+ were offered for Aug we probably wouldn't but our package is 8/30.

Wow! That really shows how well the show speaks for itself. I'd take the show over TSMM or RNRC.

My son thought it was great to eat icecream in the morning! That was the best part of the package for him, dessert before lunch.

Hang on to it until closer to the time if you are thinking of cancelling. Because once you do, chances of getting it back are very slim.

DW just spoke with Guest Relations (or a CM that was very good) that deals with FP-

We are going back 8/29- 9/2

She was told that the FP for the "Sing-Along" does indeed begin on
9/2/14- (for now) ---

They MIGHT decide to make them available sooner (I checked for 8/30), but as of now, FP begins 9/2

Thanks. Yes. Our cars know how to drive there on their own.

Do you mean with the package you have to wait for an hour for the parade?? We plan to pick up the package tickets around 9:45 but wasn't sure what was rec for getting to the parade viewing area.

Yes. Check in is at 10 and the parade starts at 11. That's an hour. Add in any time additional you wait in line. Some people get there as early as 9:30 to assure that rope spot.

Rumor* has it she's a Disney social media plant.

But seriously...the local AP holders are an invaluable source of information, and I'm glad that so many of them, including lovethattink and yulilin, take so much of their time to verify and update information straight from the parks for the Dis'ers.

I still have some Frozen things left to do. So until I get my icecream sandwich and Arendelle punch, I'm not done. I think there's some other things too.

Tried the blue day dream on Monday and the Olaf cupcake. IMHO, it was very pretty but I didn't like the drink at all, ended up throwing more than half away. It was too strong even after the ice melted. The sour was definitely there, missed the sweet though. The cupcake on the other hand was AMAZING!!

We're missing it too. It's definitely more of an adult event. Not something to bring ds to.

We didn't make any MNSSHP plans this year. Loved it last year! Especially the Villain's Mix and Mingle.

We'll be going to Sea World's Halloween stuff if they have it. It's free.

I know that the Frozen Summer Fun extension for September is only on weekends (Fri-Sun) BUT does that mean that all of the Frozen stuff (store, ice rink, sing-a-long) will be shut down the week,or is the weekends-only caveat solely for fireworks and parade?

Thank you, that was my initial impression and then reading further it seemed "weekends only" might mean everything. Just wanted to be clear.

If you want a spot at the rope plan to be there before 10am. If that isn't important to you, then you can arrive any time. There are some fully shade spots, but most are partially shaded, some are full sun.

Now I know we all have to be together to check in but can I then ideally save a spot for my family for the parade in the viewing area while my husband takes them to the playground for a bit? You said they start the refreshments at 10ish right?

Here's how it works. You line up for check in. Give your nane at the podium and get your credentials then a singalong time. Refreshments are at carts. Either dh or myself became the designated runner while the others held spots for the parade. I think it would be hard to save spots for several people.

There is a kiddie viewing area and they must sit. Or you can go elsewhere in the viewing area. It's up to you. Usually first in pick rope spots. Very few people sit during the parade.
