**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Found this tidbit of info in the Guide for Guests with Disabilities:

Service animals are not permitted in the skating pond or Build a Snowman area.

I remembered to ask this yesterday, but forgot to ask about skating age requirements.

The answer was that IF the building is open, it would not be for FSF. All that would be shut down. Instead it would be for M&G opportunities IF any parts were opened.

Thanks for checking, Tink! I appreciate it!

We are going to DHS on 9/28, and will be there for Extra Magic Hours at 8am. Do they do a Welcome show for EMH guests, or just the one at 9am? I saw a post where there was an EMH show on 7/5, but thought that may have just been due to the holiday.

According to the Disney Website EMH are in the evening that day not morning
Hope that helps

Hiya everyone!

Apologies if this has been asked already but just have a couple of questions.
We're going to be at the studios on the 6th of September, it says the park closes at 8pm (or rather I assume this is when Fantasmic will start). Has it been announced what time the fireworks will start on this evening?

Also am I right in thinking guests who haven't purchased any sort of ticket for this frozen event can still watch the parade + the fireworks at the end of the evening? Or are we not allowed? Furthermore would we be able to go in the Wandering Oaken's shop? (As we will be in studios that day but haven't bought the premium frozen pass thing or anything).

Just wanted to be clear what frozen summer fun things we can see without actually buying the premium ticket! Thanks :)

Park hours have changed. The park is open 9am-9:30pm. F! Is at 8:30 and Frozen Fireworks at 9:15pm.

You do not not need a Premium Package.

You will be able to go to the singalong (see 1st post of this thread about where to get your free ticket), the parade, the fireworks, and Oaken's. Oaken's closes early and so will some of the attractions that are in the firework zone.

Oh really? That's great news! Thank you :)
Didn't realise Fantasmic had moved to 8:30 either! :goodvibes

Check Disney's site to confirm, I was looking at TP.

Park hours recently changed. Itinkso had reported earlier that F! times might change too. So be sure to keep checking.

Yep you're definitely correct, I just checked their official website and the times have certainly changed. That's perfect news.

Thanks again for the help!

Hi all!

I posted the trip itinerary I used for my Saturday, August 2 trip for the Frozen Summer Fun on a different thread, and lovethattink kindly suggested it might help some people who read this thread as well.

Here is the itinerary my dad and I followed that day (we got there after the morning EMH):

I hope this might help some of you enjoy all the fun! Thanks again to all of you for the tips and experiences you've shared on here, I found them hugely helpful! :goodvibes

Thanks so much for sharing!

Did you have a FP+ for Fantasmic?

How were the crowds heading there? Did you take Hollywood BLVD to Sunset or did you cut over before? I know before fireworks they have several roped off areas and just wondering if after fireworks those ropes are lifted to cut back to Sunset.

Does is only "snow" during the parade on Hollywood Blvd? I've read a lot of tips to watch from American Idol to Backlot to avoid the crowds, but the girls really want to see it snow, so if that only happens in certain areas I'll need to make sure that's where they sit.

It does happen other times too. A couple afternoons we made our trek to the exit around 3-3:15 and there was a stage show with an MC and Olaf. It was to remind guests to keep taking pictures of Take Along Olaf and to post them to social media with the tag line #olafsummervacation

After that it began to snow on Hollywood Blvd. We were in a store. I took this picture from inside.

It also snows as the park closes. It's Frozen's "goodnight kiss".

There are some shows where Elsa stirs up some of her snow magic and of course, the parade.

The snow for the parade, 3:15 stage presentation, and goodnight only happen on Hollywood BLVD.

Watching the parade between Idol and Backlot Express, you are forfeiting some special effects for less crowds and being able to show up last minute.

Thank you SO much! Your info is more detailed than what I have seen anywhere else, and it helps tremendously with planning! :goodvibes

You're welcome. And thank you. I'm glad it's helping.

Once I get pictures downloaded from Monday, I have pictures of the video screens during the parade. Either they put up a new one, or I never noticed the one big screen is two-sided.

Anyone know about Premiere Package?

I thought you were not charged until you use it per CM that I booked with over phone and can be cancelled 24 hours in advance. However I see it has already been charged to my credit card?

Does anyone know how this works or is suppose to work?
