**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

On the previous page Yulilin3 said that the lights turn on around 6. You'll see them turn on if you are in the streets. I'm sure we'll see reports after the first package night.

Are the photos in this post from the summer snow ground or the new location?
Very curious to see the new location and wonder how many kids at a time, and time limit. I have an idea but not sure how much time we actually have.

I took them opening day of the new location. The Sing-along pictures are older and each from a different show.

Yesterday afternoon the Snowground was empty. I didn't count how many went in, but last Monday there were so many people it was hard to move in there and we had to wait outside about 10 minutes to get inside.

Comments I've heard from northerners waiting was that it wasn't worth the wait because they'll have a winter filled with this. But for those of us who don't ever see snow, this is a real treat. My husband has just as much fun as my son. And he always says that was the fasted 10 minutes.

Things seem to change so quickly... So is the Snow Playground still open and if so will it still be open in December? I thought it was just a shop and the sing a long left, but then saw it still on the map.

The three continuing Frozen attractions are:
Snowground - adjacent to Oaken's (snow playground; no ice skating)
Oaken's
Sing Along

For sure they will be around through the holidays. I bumped into Dan Cockerell the day the new Snowground opened. He told me that due to it's popularity that there are plans to double it (the snow) in size! So I don't see it leaving any time soon!!

More snow. :cool1:

I have not read all the threads so this may have been answered. We have FP+ for the frozen sing-a-long, does this require an additional ticket?

I'm excited for all of you, who don't get to experience snow every year to have this wonderful opportunity. We'll definitely skip that part. I have a question about the App to get trolls and sven picture opportunity, is this app part of MDX? Or separate, anyone have a link to it?

The fast passes for the sing along. Is it day of it pre booking cause I never knew there were or saw them on the app?

It's not linked to MDX. The app is Aurasma and you have to download it. Inside Oaken you will see the symbol for the app and that's where you get the picture. If you have trouble there are always CM that are able to help
Here's the link to the app: http://www.aurasma.com/campaigns/disney-frozen-summer-fun/ if you download it to your phone then just hold it against the park map and you'll see what happens

Speaking of the Aurasma app...has anyone happened to find a place to use it outside Disney? I feel like I play a Where's Waldo game any time I'm out anywhere, trying to find a place to use it to see some cool stuff. So far...nada.

Try it on a $5 and a $20 bill.

Try on coke products, team logos, etc

Thanks. We live in fl lol.
10 min may be enough.

It's definitely worth a stop inside to check it out! Recently, they started to allow entrance to the snowground only from the outside. The entrance is right around the corner from the trading post. We got to watch some of the off stage things happening at the stunt show while waiting to get in the snowground on Sunday!

Yes!! Just don't have any idea when.

Tickets are no longer handed out. So with a FP+, just get in the queue marked for FP+ Entrance.

I'm not sure what they will do once the packages start. Maybe they'll give package guests a ticket? Or else write their name down on the VIP log?

The Aurasma pictures are on the Aurasma App, the A&E picture at the bridge magic shot is part of Photopass.

The passes for the sing-along should show up on the APP. I see them. You can book them 60 days in advance for onsite guests and 30 for offsite and AP.

LOL! My family from Texas will probably be excited to see the snow. Me? I'm going to FL from AK to stay away from it! :) But I am still excited about all of the Frozen experiences!!

I'm excited too! We missed it this June. Frozen Summer Fun was announced after we returned home. So I check daily to see if it was going to be extended through the Holidays. Happy that some of it was. :thumbsup2

can someone tell me what the standby wait times have been like for the Sing A Long? Outrageous? This would be for a fairly low-crowd day in November. TIA
